You walk down the hall. It has been three days of non stop talking with Rem. You couldn't find the time to ask Rem why she was here. There were just so many questions you had. Only a few were answered.

You grab a cup of coffee and add cream plus sugar. You walk back to L's desk. He was still there typing and all of that good stuff. You take a seat next to him, tired. L stops and looks at you. "Hi."

You turn your head and smile tiredly. "Hey. I just finished talking to Rem."

L nods and stretches. "So... I cant see Rem. Why is that?"

"No one can see a Death God unless you posses a Death Note or be another Death God. And someone like me."

L sighs and rolls over closer to you. You look into his dark eyes. You frown at the though that his eyes look sadden, but  it was like he didn't know. You set your coffee down and hug him. "I feel like I may lose you..."

L's eyes widen in surprised to your sudden affection. "Why do you think that?" The words came out of  his mouth smoothly in his deep voice. You couldn't explain why. You just kept your mouth shut.

You guys stayed there for quite some time before Matsuda ((Hopefully spelled correct))  came walking by. He stopped and looked at both of you. "What are you guys doing?" 

L looks at him giving him a cold stare before saying "I'm giving Z a hug. Is that a problem?" You hear challenging tone to L's voice. Like he was being protective. Matsuda shook his head and walked away. You look back up at L. He seemed different in some way. You hugged him more. Not wanting this moment of this affection he was giving to you to be gone.

Matsuda's POV ((Didn't expect this did ya?))

I walked down the hall and had a weird conversation with L. I mean i normally do have weird conversations but this time... It was different. I walked into the room where all the computers and stuff are... I looked down at the body laying on the ground. Motionless and still. Nothing.  I walked over to the body slowly. I couldn't see who it was because of a cart that had sweets and cakes for L, was in front of the head of the person.

I walked over slowly and move the cart....No... Watari. "WATARI!?" I didn't know what do to. I ran back to L and Z. "WATARI IS DEAD!!!"

I saw Z's eyes widen and L's... they became cold and dark. They both ran into the room where Watari layed there lifeless. Z begin to look around frantic.

"Where is  the Death God!?" She said.
