Your POV
Your eyes begin to water more as you ran down the hall ways looking for that damn Death God. You knew light was making his strike. He was going for the whole team. You keep looking for a good 10 minutes before you ran back to L. Now you were crying. Watari is dead. What's worse is he holds all the information on everyone on the team. You begin to worry for everyone. Who will be dead next? You knew that there was only one thing you could do. But you would be putting your own life at risk.
L looks at you. He looked angry and sad. You wrap your arms around him. Feeling if you let him go he would disappear. L hugs you back and buries his face into the crook of your neck. You shiver slightly as you feel his warm breath against your cold soft skin. You tightened your grip on him. L lifts his head up. He had water lines on his face. Revealing that he had cried. You wipe away his tears. You hated this feeling. You hated seeing him cry. "I'm sorry L..."
"What for?" He says the best he can with out the sound of sadness in his voice.
"I let you down... I let Watari down... It was because i should have known why that fucking Death God was here..."
L holds u closer "Don't think that. You did your best. We all did."
"L... Please..." Your voice was weak and quiet. L places a soft kiss on your lips.
