The beginning/ When Worlds Collide (L x Reader Death Note)

Chapter 2 - L

You wake to hearing the alarm on your phone going off. You silence it and get up. "Today is the day i meet my team..." You say out loud to yourself.

You take a nice warm shower. You smiled after you got dressed. You rarely ever smile. Only when you are alone. You put on a button up shirt and skinny jeans. You put on black converse with a star on the side of them. You also put on a black trench coat with a hood on it. You pull the hood over your head and grab a bag that you packed last night. If you do like the people you are going to work with you are going to be forced to stay there.

You leave your house after saying good-bye to your younger sister who is capable of taking care of her self. She is only 13. You hope she will be fine. You head over to the hotel where Watari told you to go. You walk in and look around. You readjust your eye patch making sure it covered your red eye perfectly. You sit in the lobby and wait.

A few minutes later you notice Watari walking off the elevator. You stand up and walk over to him. It was really awkward for you to keep being in that same spot in the lobby. Everyone stared at you when they walked by.

"Hello Z. Welcome. I'll show you to the place. come." He walked back onto the elevator and you followed. You both reach the 55th floor and walk off. Watari opens up a door leading you into the big hotel room.

You looked around. You see a strange man sitting on the couch. He wasn't sitting normally. He was sitting on his feet putting his hands on his knees watching multiple TV screens. Watari walks over to him. "L i would like you to meet Z. She will be working with us for a while." L? Oh right... You heard of him. The greatest detective in the world. Fuck... You say in your head.

L looks over at you then stands up slowly. He slouches and walks over to you with his hands in his baggy pants pockets. "Z...? hmm..." He walks around you before putting a hand on your head. You were only as tall as his chest. "Your short." You frowned at this as he removes your hood. For some reason he seemed a little bit attractive to you.

"I know I'm short. I don't need your comment." You spit out, pissed. He is studying me like I am.

"I don't need you to be studying me." He says in a low voice.

You frown realizing that he knew you both were studying each other. "Fine. If i don't study you, you don't study me."

L looks at you and smirks. "Oh so you noticed. Your smarter then I realized."

Watari walks over to us and moves L away from you. "Now L... Be nice. We need her for the investigation."

L sighs and takes a few steps back. You look at Watari you say calmly "So Watari where am I going to stay?"

Watari smiles "Come on ill show you." Watari leads you into a room that has a bed a bathroom and a dresser. "Here you are. You will have the night shift with L. That way you guys may get to be friends." He walks out of the room leaving you dumb founded. WHAT!? I don't want to be with L! Okay so there is a slight hot look to him but i don't think we will be friends if we both stay the same.
