The beginning/ When Worlds Collide (L x Reader Death Note)

Chapter 13 - No!

You sighed as you watch L go back to work while eating his new candies. You looked around the dark room. You sit up from being on a couch. The only sound was L’s fingers moving swiftly across his keyboard. You didn’t like this one bit. It was too quiet. Even if it was just you and L. He should have said something now or sooner. You heard the door open up as Light and the rest of the team walks into the room. Where is the Death God? (God of Death) You watched as they walked over to L.

  “L…” Light began “Where is all the information that we a have collected over the past year?” L looks up at him like he knew. What is going on? You straighten your position on the couch so you’re not slouching but sitting straight up.

 “Well I told Watari that if anything happened to him he should delete all the data.” L takes a spoon and goes to stir the liquid in his cup. L freezes on what he is doing. He drops the spoon. A ringing sound goes though out the room. Everything goes silent.  You eyes widen as you watch L’s body fall to the ground. His black hair swayed to the side. You jump out of your seat. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. You were in mid air reaching out to catch L. He said nothing just let himself fall. Your arms wrapped around his body as you both hit the ground. L’s eyes widen, as he looked you in the eye. “L!” You screamed. Tears fall from your face onto his. His eyes began to close. I won’t let this happen! Not again! My sister is gone and I couldn’t save her! But I can save L! You leaned down and kissed him. If I am a God of Death I have the power to save him.  Everyone in the room was freaking out. Some were leaving the room looking for help while others had breakdowns. Your vision begins to blur. This isn’t the first time you have done this. Everything went black as you felt L stop breathing.     

            You open your eyes to find a world of black. Nothing was around. You look down to find yourself wearing a black dress with lace on the borders. The dress was long as a wedding dress. You also had black gloves on with some heels to match the dress. “So… This is my full form…” You looked up and saw a while light down some ways. You began to run. It felt like it took forever to get there. You look at where the light was coming from. Standing there was L. He had nothing only you just stared at his upper half. I can do it. I can save him. “L…” you say softy. He turns and looks at you. He looks puzzled.

 “Where are we?” He looks at you and what you are wearing. “Why are you dressed like that?”

“L… listen right now… where you are…” You could feel tears coming into sight, “You are in between life and death. I can save you.” You ran up wanting to hug him. You wrap your arms around him. “L… Its all right if you want go. But it wont hurt time and space if you stay with me back at home.”

  L looks down at you. “Z… I have already died. You have to let me go.”

“No! You not dead not yet! Why am I able to see you!  It’s because you and I are sharing my life force right now. I can trade half of my life span and give to you and I can bring you back that way! Don’t you understand? You’re not dead. Not yet.” Tears began flowing down your cheeks.

  “Why are you letting me have some of your life force?” L looks into your eyes. Something seems to be changing in his eyes.

“Because…. I-” You were cut off by L kissing you. The kiss wasn’t like the normal soft kiss he gave you… it felt more forceful. Maybe because this world is different then back home.

  “I want to go back… I can’t just leave you.” L says after breaking the kiss. You nodded wanting nothing more with this place. You hugged L.

 “L… Close your eyes and hold onto me.” L did as you told him. You then woke in a hospital room. You sat up and looked around. “L…?” You said, still in a daze. It was wrong for that God of Death to try and kill L. You get up out of the bed and begin to run down the hall. People stared at you. You searched for him.  Your heart begins to race. What if that it didn’t work? What if he is dead?
