『Section 14』

As I walked out of the bathroom, I saw a glimpse of Jimin flirting up one of the receptionists. Disgusted, I walked past him, flipping my hair. I wonder how many STD's he has...

It was already 6 o'clock, which meant most of the employees had left by now. The guys had already left and I was still here by myself. The whole day I kept an eye on the parking lot, looking through the window near my desk. The second I saw Taehyung and Jimin leave, I knew it was time take action.

I made sure I looked laid back and relaxed while I walked into the elevator and through the hallways. I silently set foot into Taehyung's cabin, which was surprisingly unlocked. Walking over to his ebony desk, I carelessly looked through the compartments. I couldn't find anything useful. The drawers were just filled with papers about the company and the future plans. I stood up from my crouched position and stretched.

Something didn't sit right. The door was unlocked, and these drawers in this desk could obviously be locked, but they were left open. Like someone was waiting for me to come inside. That was when I realized I had been caught.

Rushing out of the cabin, I quickly rushed toward the door. Walking through the hallway to get to the elevator, I started to spot the faint outline of a tall figure. Squinting my eyes, I tried to recognize who they were. Only a couple rays of stray light filtered in, making the hallway darker and darker as it went on. When the man turned around, I knew exactly who it was.

A single ray hit his head, highlighting all the sharp angles of his symmetrical face. His hands were casually stuffed into his trouser's  pockets. His pink lips lifted on one side as soon as he spotted me on the other side of the hallway.

I froze like a deer in front of headlights. He didn't seem like he was going to walk towards me, so I took my chances and ran right back into the office. Through my efforts to leave, I could hear the sound of his rapid footsteps hurrying after me. Thinking quickly, I squished myself under the desk in a workstation. Each workstation was separated by dividers, which created cubes of workstations in the office, and hopefully it hid me.

"Mina? Where are you baby girl?...", he called out to me. It seemed like he was on the other side of the room. If god was with me today, then hopefully he would just leave. Too bad he wasn't.

While I was trying to make a dash for the door to the other elevator, the end of my heel hit the power button on the CPU. The sound of the PC starting gave away my location immediately.

Fuck!

Panicking, I shot out of the workstation I was hiding in, and dashed towards the door. In a matter of seconds, Taehyung slid behind the space of me and the elevator. Nearly escaping, I ran towards the other door, only to be slammed into it.

His hands pinned my wrists to either side of my body, and his entire figure was pressed up against mine. Scared and breathless, I looked up to meet those eyes, only to be captivated. His eyes sparkled, and there was an indescribable emotion swimming within them. My breath hitched and I could feel his do the same. Slowly, his gaze shifted from eyes to my lips. For a split second, my heart froze. I knew what he was going to do, but it was up to me to allow it.

As he started to lean in, my hand pulled out of his and I smacked it on to his lips. I pushed his head back and shrunk back down, avoiding his face.

Putting my hands together, I pleaded, "Just let me go. Just this once please. I swear I won't do it again".

When he saw me kneeling on the ground, his expression changed. His eyebrows loosened up and his gaze softened. After what seemed like an eternity to make up his mind, he finally made a decision.

Slowly, he turned to the side, granting me space to run away. He didn't say anything and instead stared off into the distance.

Taking my chances, I dashed out of the office. While I ran out, I heard him mummer to himself, "Sh*t why did I let her go".

Smiling to myself, I walked towards my car, feeling the adrenaline rush through vein in my body.

That was a close one, phew.
