chapter one

I laid in bed looking at my clock on the wall. Each time it tick I will shake my hand. It was so quite that I just couldn't stand it. For some reason, my day off of work is a strange one. I never have anything to do. And to make it worst, mom keep calling me. I got out of bed and went downstairs. My dog arrow was laying their. He wag his tail as I walked over to him. I rubbed his head. "Hey arrow. You want to go on a walk"? I asked. Arrow barked and I laugh. This is going to be the first time that arrow walks without a leash. I hope everything goes as plan. I grabbed my shoes and put them on. Then hurried out. Me and arrow walked side by side. He was doing great until this rather tall man walked by us. He had dark chestnut hair. And red lips. I couldn't see his eyes because of how fast he past by me. But arrow must saw everything because he came right after the man barking like I was in danger. The man gasp and looked at the dog. I felt my face turn red at the thought of arrow biting the man. I hurried over and grabbed arrow by his tail. "I'm so sorry. Did he hurt you in any way"? I asked shaky. The man smiled. And i notice his blue eyes. "He did nothing. I think we just didn't get off on a good start". "What"? I was confused now. I didn't know what he was talking about. I looked at him wishing he would exsplain. "Well see. I was walking and I end up going into your yard. Your dog came out of nowhere and attack me". I gasp and covered my mouth with my free hand. I felt even more bad now. I couldn't believe what happened. "I'm so sorry about that". "Don't worry. He didn't do harm surprising". I laugh a little. Then we both laughed. Before I knew it I let go of arrow and he knocked the man down. I gasp. People stared and laugh. I ignored them and helped the man up. He laugh as he rubbed arrow head. "Well I have to go". Said the man with a smile. He looked like he didn't want to stop smiling. "Oh. I see you later if I ever do". "Yea. Hey, may I have your name"?  "Oh. Its Jake. What's yours"? "It's Tom". I smiled and walked away without another word. "Wait"! Tom yelled out. I turned to look at him. "My number is 912-345-3659". I smiled and nod my head. I walked away smiling.  And Arrow walked beside me once again.
