Vocab:

Mermaid: A mermaid is a creature with the torso of a human, and lower body of a fish. They hang out by the shore and enjoy teasing humans. To become a mermaid is to drown in peaceful waters at sea. Most mermaids come from suicide or the inability to swim. Muteness is common among them.

Pixie: Pixies are wingless creatures who are very territorial. Mischievous and bitter, they seek out trouble. Always at war with Fae and Faries. They tend to have green skin. In the old days, they were mostly naked. Now, they enjoy fashion. They are incredibly small and hard to notice. They are the reason people lock their stables. They're infamous for stealing horses and ponies. Don't let them bite you.

Fae: A Fae is a creature that resembles a fairy. They have pointy ears and they can turn into the size of a little kid when in the human world. They are mischievous and clever. They work in groups and are selfish. Always at war with the Fairies and Pixies. They're the reason parents lock their doors at night. Fae are infamous for stealing children. They are immortal.

Witch: Born human, a woman who is infected by a pixie can become magical. If they can master that magic, they become a witch. Whether or not the witch is good or bad depends on them and the pixie that bit them. They can wield different types of magic.

Siren: A siren is not a mermaid. Sirens are previously human, but they do not die willingly. Only women become sirens. To become one, they must be thrown overboard or fall overboard during a storm. Their song lures any who dare listen to their death. They tend to seek revenge on sailers. You can only reveal their true appearance by mirror, or if you, too, are a magical creature. Blindness is common among sirens.

Centaur: the torso of a human, a body of a horse, Centaurs are not to be messed with. They are good fighters and incredibly fast. You can be born a centaur. But, if a pixie steals your horse while your on it, there's a chance you'll merge with it. Centaurs are also terrible flirts with the mermaids.

Fairy: A fairy is a human like creature with wings. Most are nice and friendly. No matter what, do not dance with them as you will continue to dance until you die. There are some bad fairies, but you don't run into them as often. Fairies are dressed in elegant wear and are always at war with Fae and Pixies. They tend to seal household items.

Human: If you don't know what a human is look in the mirror wow.

Hello! Yes, this is my latest idea. Yes it is kind of cool. Yes it is kind of lame. I've got one ship planned out. I refuse to take it away bc I've been dying to do it. So without further ado.... welcome to Fae and folklore. Please comment any and all ships and stuff. Also please note that all the info of the different mythical creatures are part what I made up and what I've researched.
