Third person POV
"So what's the plan? Capricorn asked Libra. She was pulling out some potion ingredients. They were odd names I didn't recognize, but some I did. She pulled out some sage, which is always used in TV shows like the Vampire Diaries.
"I need to figure out what she needs for her ritual so we can get counter ingredients," Libra told everyone. "To know that, I need drops of all your blood and something that belonged to the witch about to cast the spell. The Sage is so that Cancer doesn't find out what we're doing."
"I have a pebble from Cancer's wall still with me," Devan volunteered.
"I have something stronger," Libra said, rejecting Devans offer. "I need all of your consent, otherwise I won't go through with it."
Everyone looked around the room. They were petrified. They didn't know what to do, and this war was bigger than all of them combined. After all, they were just kids. In what world should kids fight in an adults war.
Bobby mouthed the words over to himself, making sure he heard everything correctly. He met eyes with Sarah, who pondered the same decision. He hadn't known her for very long — only a couple of months. Before that, he'd only passed by her in the pond. And with one glance at the rest of them, it was all the same story. They'd been through this one thing together and suddenly felt like he'd known them for several forevers.
Bobby stood up from the spot where he crouched, leaning on Capricorn to regain his balance. "If it's my consent you need, you may have it."
Sarah smiled at Bobby. It was a smart decision, but could she make the same one. She wasn't as capable as the rest of them. Hell, she couldn't even stand up. Her normally cheerful nature was filled by this fact. But she glanced at the pixie she known all her life and then the witch who would save the world. This witch was so willing to take down her best friend to save the world, so Sarah must be willing to at least help her. Who knows? Maybe she'll be useful.
"You've got mine as well," Sarah said proudly. Her excitement was infectious.
Cassie sighed. Everyone in here was a self righteous prick. But she started this mess when she bit Cancer and Libra. She glanced at the witch with the solemn eyes and then at the Fae who wasn't nearly as bad as she first assumed. The decision was simple and clear.
"You have my consent, and whatever else you need," Cassie said, clutching right to Capricorn's hair.

And Capricorn, who read of so many adventures just like this, couldn't help but smile. He was in a gang of merry men. He was a lost boy. He had a chance to be like those he read about in his favorite stories. But even then, Virgo's words echoed in his brain. Most of these heroes suffer a horrible fate. I could never be one of those.
But he wondered, did the heroes truly suffer after knowing everything turned out fine for everyone else? Would they have run into that battle knowing they could die without reason? They each did things because they cared about someone. Stefan Salvatore died for his brother without hesitation, Silena Beauregard ran right into that battle fully knowing that she could die, and Harry Potter walked into the woods with the full intent of never walking back out.
All because they loved someone. And Capricorn loved Virgo, his mother, and everyone he'd met in this world.

"You have my consent," Capricorn agreed. Everyone's attention turned to Devan.
"Tricky, tricky," Devan muttered, flitting around from person to person. "You want to make a deal with a Fae."
