Quick A/N before the actual A/N: I updated this a day early because I have literally no time tomorrow to update this and I don't want to make you guys wait another week.

A/N: Hey My Little Mobians! Okay so I'm just letting you know, although it is probably obvious, but this is the FINAL chapter. Now, I know a few of you are probably about to be very disappointed, but remember I'm sticking to the Forces story. I apologise if this chapter is beyond shit, I have literally no motivation to end the story, and it's just an overly boring chapter. Saying that, it is probably gonna be really short. It had been a week since the defeat of Eggman and his evil scheme. The Resistance were huddled up in the HQ, talking to each other and discussing plans or ideas on how to fix up what had happened. You were standing in the room, looking around at all your new-found friends, wondering where Sonic could be at this time.

He had been spending a lot of time by himself, running around the city and doing only he knows what. You didn't mind too much, as long as he was helping and okay. However, as you looked up at the screen, you wondered if he would stay around, and if you should as well.

You did have family you needed to find, and make sure were okay. Other older friends as well. You knew you couldn't stay too much longer.

The large side door opened and Knuckles walked into the room, a tired smile on his muzzle as he glanced at his friends,

"Finally, an end to this endless battle. Everyone can go back home and relax. There's no need for the Resistance."

"Hold on, there's still a lot we need to do. We're just getting started." Silver stepped forward, crossing his arms.

The others nodded in agreement, and Knuckles let out a chuckle, knowing he'd never be able to break up the team.

You glanced back up at the screen, before letting out a sigh and turning to the red echidna, catching his attention.

"Hey uh... Commander?"

"Hm? You don't need to call me that anymore, Knuckles is fine." The red echidna smirked, puffing out his chest a little.

You chuckled a little, before you explained your plan, and his smile disappeared, he looked confused, "What? You're leaving us? There are others who need your help... But OK, I'm not gonna stop you."

You smiled, "Thank you."

Vector, the large crocodile stepped forward with a small smirk, "Man, the first time I saw you stumbling around, I had no idea you could pull this thing together and see it to the end. I've changed my mind about you."

"I knew you'd come through, rookie. Well, I guess you're not a rookie anymore!" Knuckles smiled again, patting you on the back just as roughly as the first time he did.

"You did good out there. It's not like you just waited till the last minute to come in and act all cool saving the day." Rouge landed next to the red echidna, before giving the bulky robot behind them a small snicker.

The robot, which you had learnt was named Omega, simply stared at the bat, and Shadow, who leant next to him, only shook his head.

Tails was the next to step forward, this time giving you a big hug, "Our battle is done and our resistance has come to a conclusion, but we'll be friends forever."
