    Chapter 2

             Camp Half-blood

When I was able to see again, I saw a large hill. At the top I saw four figures.

“Come.” Tyson said, gesturing to follow him up the hill. “We will meet Percy, and Annabeth, and pony man, and Mr.D and Nico and a lot of friends!” I looked at the top of the hill and saw all the people. One had black hair and deep black eyes, a girl had blond hair and scary grey eyes, another man had messy black hair and watery blue bloodshot eyes, and the last one was an older man with brown hair and brown eyes, but that wasn’t it. He was also part horse. That freaked me out. Right when I got off the dog I collapsed. I felt weak and I couldn’t stand. I felt stinging on my arm and when I put my hand over it came back wet and red. Lacy came over to me and bent down. She examined my arm. She said something but I couldn’t hear her. I saw the figures coming towards us. The boy with black hair and green eyes bent down next to me. He said something then picked my up bridal style. I saw Tyson holding Sadie and Walt and the blond girl was helping Carter walk. The horse dude had gotten Zia.

I could see my vision going black. When we went through an arch we headed towards a gold cabin. The boy knocked on the door and a blond haired boy answered. When he saw me, he and the other boy carrying me ran into a large blue house. After we went inside everything went black.

When I came to, I was in what looked to be an infirmary. I was laying on a comfortable bed.  I sat up and immediately regretted it. My head hurt like crazy and my arm hurt terribly. I looked around and spotted Sadie, Carter, Walt and Zia awake and talking to the horse dude.

“Now, you are not to tell a single soul about this.” The horse man was saying. “At least, not until I sort this out.” His head turned to me and he saw that I was awake. “Well, it is good to see you awake my dear, my name is Chiron and you are in Camp Half-blood.”

“Camp Half-blood?” I asked.

“Ah, yes. Let me explain. You know the greek myths?” I nodded. “Well, they are real and every once in a while they will have children with mortals. Those children are called half bloods.  And they train here. One of your parents is a greek god.”

“Really?”

“Really.”

“So, who’s my parent?” I was curios to know. And at the same time, I was glad that I wasn’t alone.

“Well, we don’t know. We have to wait for them to claim you. But it would be nice to know who your mortal parent is. And perhaps your name?”

“I grew up with my foster parents and have never met my real parents. And my name is Pearl Jackson.”

“Jackson, eh? Well, I suppose we just have to wait and see.” He trotted out the door and the black haired kid and blond haired girl came inside.

“Hi.” The blond haired girl said. “My name is Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena. And this is Nico di Angelo, son of Hades.”

“Hi, I’m Pearl Jackson, daughter of I-have-no-idea. This is Sadie and Carter Kane, Walt Stone, and Zia I-don’t-know-your-last-name.”

“Rashid,” Zia corrected. “Zia Rashid.”

“Nice to meet you all.” Annabeth said. “Come on, we’ll give you a tour of camp.”

We followed them all through the camp and we saw everything. From the cabins to the arena and more. There was also a climbing wall that poured lava while you were climbing! This summer was going to be awesome.

When we had seen the whole camp Nico and Annabeth started introducing us to some people. And they warned us about the Stoll brothers and their pranks. The Stolls and Sadie were going to get along just fine.
