Zeke looked back and forth between Andrian and me. "What," he paused to point his finger between us. "Is going on here?" It was then that I realized how close we were. During our mini argument, we had been inching towards each other. Now we sat just a foot apart. It seemed he realized this at the same time I did, as we both sat back, disgusted by our proximity.

"Damn, I must have missed something good." Zeke winked at me. "Ezekial, why don't you tell your friend here, to leave. I've had enough of him." I smiled sweetly at him. He must have read the anger in my eyes because he told Andrian to leave.

Andrian's glare met mine. "You could have asked me yourself, you spoiled brat." He muttered as he walked past. "Bye!" Zeke said happily as Andrian shut the door. "Ezekial Lipnicki!" I was out of my seat and standing in front of him in seconds. "I will seriously castrate you, fry your shit, and feed it to you if you ever do that to me again!" I was practically yelling at him but I didn't care. "I told you I didn't like him and you left him alone with me! It even tingled when he freaking touched me!" Zeke's eyes finally snapped to meet mine.

"He touched you?" He was serious. Zeke is rarely serious. "Yes, I ran smack into his brick wall of a body and he reached out to steady me." I was confused. Why did he care this much? "You can't let him touch you, LaiLai." I glared at him. "Why? Does he have some contagious STD that's transmittable by skin contact?" He sighed. "No, just, please, don't touch him." I glared at him some more then stormed off to my bedroom.

"I don't plan on it!" I yelled before slamming my door. I flopped down on my bed and groaned into my pillow. I glanced at my alarm clock. Only three? Oh God, Zeke still has like three hours before he goes to work.

As if he heard my thoughts there was a knock on the door. "LaiLai? I'm sorry for leaving you with him." I didn't answer. I was suddenly so tired. "Are you mad at me?" I groaned. "No, I'm just grumpy. You can come in." I moved over as the door opened, then closed. "I really am sorry, LaiLai." He laid down next to me. "It's okay, Z." I patted his arm then closed my eyes, exhausted. "Do you want me to leave?" I shook my head. "Are you going to sleep?" I nodded before drifting off to sleep.

I woke up around 8. Zeke was long gone, and I was finally alone. I rolled over and grabbed my phone. Nothing. Perfect. I yawned and rolled out of bed, headed to the kitchen to make a sandwich or something.

When I walked into the kitchen my fridge was standing wide open. "What the-," The fridge slammed shut, and my other best friend, Eliza, was standing there. "Boo!" I jumped and ran into the doorway of the kitchen, possibly bruising my left hip. "Ow! Woman, what are you doing in my kitchen!?" She smiled and munched on her handful of grapes. "I have a key, remember?"

I sighed. "Am I out of grapes now?" She nodded. "Did you throw the bag away?" She shook her head. "Not my job," she replied. I groaned. "Throw the bag away. I don't need trash in my fridge." She shrugged. "Sounds like a personal problem." She jumped up onto the counter and sat staring at me. I glared at her as she popped the last of my grapes in her mouth. "You love me and you know it." I smiled. "You're right." I opened the fridge and pulled the empty grape bag out and chucked it at her head. She dodged and moved to throw it away as I took out the leftover baked ziti Zeke made last night.

She gasped at the sight of it. "Did Ezekial make that?" I nodded. "Oo! I want some!" I rolled my eyes at her. "Just tell him you like him." She gasped like I had just slapped her. "I could never." I started making myself a plate. "And why's that?" I stuck the plate in the microwave and turned to face her. "Cause he's a fuckboy, Lai, I don't want to get hurt." I rolled my eyes. "Maybe he's only like that because he's lonely?" She scoffed. "Zeke? Lonely? Yeah right." The microwave beeped behind me, cutting me off.
