The Coffee Date

Hermione's P.O.V

Draco and I headed towards the coffee shop next to our work place.

"What would you guys want to have today?"said the waitress "I would like a latte please" said Draco "what about you miss?" she asked "I would like a latte and a chocolate muffin please" I turned back to face malfoy "so Malfoy you should have a reason for inviting me for coffee" he pretended to look disappointed "why, can't I just ask my colleague out for coffee without any other plans?" I scoffed "if you're anything like the Malfoy that used to taunt me, then you've got other plans." He looked genuinely hurt and for one split second I felt regret but the feeling vanished as soon as he said "yes what could anyone expect from a mudblood like you." As soon as those words left his mouth I picked up my bags and stormed out "good day Malfoy prick."

I headed back upstairs,I threw my stuff on my desk.

Draco P.O.V

"Good day Malfoy prick" said Hermione than she stormed out I couldn't believe I just said as soon as those words slipped out of my mouth I knew I made a mistake, I had genuinely changed after the war or so I thought so...

I picked up my stuff and headed back upstairs to work, on the way there I saw Hermione but she just ignored me like I was a piece of crap that was in her way.

I collected my stuff and headed back to my apartment I grabbed a bottle of fire whiskey and chugged it down I guess I was just...drinking away my stress....

Hermione's P.O.V

I went back to my office and sat there thinking about what that ferret said to me, I sighed. I guess he didn't really change at all.

I departed from my office and headed back to Ginny and Blaise' s house I pushed open the door and went straight upstairs,I jumped on my bed and fell into a deep sleep where Malfoy sneaked into my dreams or was it a nightmare.

In my dream Malfoy kept calling me "Mudblood" until I fell on the ground sobbing,I woke up screaming and in a pool of sweat.

I quickly got up and got ready trying to forget about the nightmare I had I rushed down stairs and headed to work.

When I arrived at my office I saw a letter on my desk and low and be hold it was from my "dear" Ronald...

Ron's P.O.V

I felt like running to Hermione and begging her for forgiveness and to take me back,but I couldn't especially because Lavender was sitting on my lap.

"What's wrong won won"? she said "nothing's wrong baby" I replied back.I pulled her face close to mine and kissed her passionately,I need her she made me feel like nobody could even Hermione...

I pulled Lavender closer to me and kissed her roughly,I needed more of her I pushed her backwards onto my bed and went on top of her then I went farther....

Hermione's P.O.V

I started to do all of the paper work that I was assigned to, I sighed knowing that Ron still hadn't fill out the divorce papers yet,but I'm even more frustrated that Ron had the nerves to invite me on a so called "date" even though I want nothing to do with him anymore I just want to forget about him and move on in life.

We had a meeting in the afternoon about the Quiditch World Cup when I arrived I immediately saw that ferret I almost forgot that he was head of the magical sports department I couldn't even look at him.

After the meeting I had a little discussion with the ferret "Hermione do you want to discuss the Quiditch World Cup since we have a break now?" Malfoy said "It's Ms Granger to you and no I don't want talk because I'm busy" I hissed and walked away.

I returned back to my office to do more paperwork,but all of the sudden I heard a tap on my window I turned around and saw a grey owl holding a letter in its beak I opened the window and grabbed the letter but as soon as I closed the window I saw that the owl had a Malfoy family crest on its collar right then and there I knew it had to be that ferret's owl and why on earth would that disgusting ferret send a letter to me?

I opened the letter and it said
"Dear Granger,

I'm deeply sorry for the things I said to you I was wondering if I could make it up to you by bringing you to the Lovers Den Restaurant if you accept then meet me at Lovers Den at 5pm today.

Sincerely your favourite ferret."

I can't believe that Malfoy asked me on a date I'm guessing? but the only problem is that Ron already asked me to go out with him to the exact same place and at the exact same time...

A.N Hey guys! isn't this surprising? Both Draco and Ron asked Hermione out but which one will Hermione choose? This chapter is longer then all the other chapters so we hoped you guys enjoyed this!
