"You passed out on the roof, and Laito found you

"You passed out on the roof, and Laito found you. Is that what you are trying to say?" Reiji asked for the 2nd time, drumming his fingers on the table. I just nodded my head once again.

I'm home now, apparently. I'm, literally, standing in Reiji's room, being interrogated by the guy. He is sitting down on one of the chairs beside the table, his legs crossed. I have both hands behind my back, because of some reason. There was a cup of tea on there, a teacup, and a box which what seemed like tea. I mean, there is the word Tea written on the box, so...

It's already 4 in the morning, I think. I want to go to bed and watch some Anime or something. But, I have some consequences to face.

I don't know why I lied...well it's not really a lie. I did pass out on the roof. I just couldn't say that Laito bit me, I don't know. It doesn't feel right. I know, I should have been honest. Either so, I will be punished.

Reiji's room is, well, how I expected it. It's all science-y or something. There's seem to be a table there where he experiments or what, and he has a collection of... Tableware. He's a Tableware Otaku.

"You seem healthy," He began, which alerted me, "How did you pass out?" He asked, narrowing his eyes behind his glasses. I should've known not to lie in front of a Vampire.

"I-It just happened..." I muttered, my hand unconsciously landing the part of my neck with a bite mark. I sighed in defeat. Wrong move...

"You are aware that us, Vampires, have enhanced sight, hearing and...smell. I never thought that you are that naive." His face was expressionless but there was a hint of smug on it, and he's probably thinking that I'm so dumb right now for lying at his face. Yep, I should've never lied in front of a vampire.

I hung my head low, "Sorry..." I muttered, fiddling with my hands.

I could hear him standing up, his footsteps making my heart beat faster as it got louder. He stopped in front of me. I shut my eyes when he lifted his hand, thinking he will hit me. But he didn't. Instead, he took my wrist behind my back. I looked at him as he inspects my shaking hand.

"Do you know why I know that you're lying?" He asked, his voice cold and low.

"Because you can...smell my blood?" I guessed.

After some time he said yes. He let go of my hand then lifted my chin. I looked everywhere but him, my eyes blinking furiously.

"You've always been such a bad liar..." He murmured, making me pause and look at him. Wait, what?
