Fine dining.

I know many things about it. My father used to take me to parties and formal events that require to be prim and proper while eating.

Every time I try to take my phone out while eating, he'll slightly tap my hand and smile at me, sinisterly. When that happens, I would cry all night while I'm sleeping in our guest room, while my room is locked. It was sad. I probably repeated the mistake five times or more. Solely because I can't be late with any Anime and Manga updates.

Now, we're supposed to eat Katsudon, or rather I was supposed to eat Katsudon. Laito is supposed to take me outside, for the first time. We're both going to sneak out from the mansion, that was the deal... Then, why...

Why...

WHY AM I SITTING IN FRONT OF AYATO, WHO'S EATING A PERFECTLY-COOKED SALMON?

I looked at the food in front of me. Complete of an appetizer, main course, and dessert. A tomato soup, a medium-rare steak, a chiffon cake, and a glass of red wine is laid in front of me. All are cooked with elegance and flawlessness.

My eyes gazed at Laito who was looking bored, his cheeks on his palm. I guess he's probably pissed off as well. I mean, the both of us didn't expect Reiji waiting for us at the end of the grand staircase, arms crossed and smirking- I actually thought I saw Sebby for a moment! I almost squealed, thank HIM I held myself back.

"Perfect timing. Both of you are just in time for our monthly dinner party." Is what he said, and dragged Laito and me inside the dining room while smiling, smugly. I tried to talk to him, saying what I was wearing was slightly inappropriate. Which is only a bluish, grey jacket over a white tank top and shorts.

I sighed and decided to try the soup first. I bet Reiji will reprimand me if I try to eat the cake first.

As I tasted the soup, I couldn't help but get impressed by how it was cooked. It wasn't too salty, or too sour either. The taste was balanced, and the texture is thick. I could say that this was made with rich ingredients. Oh, no! I'm fawning over a soup!?

After the soup, I pulled the steak near me. I was eyeing this one the whole time. I took the steak knife and the fork, slowly stabbing it with the latter and slicing it with the former. I wanted to drool. It cut off smoothly. It was soft. Not hard. I hate well-done steaks.
