"Hi! May I get a photo with you?" The teenage girls asks me. "Of course!" Charlie replies and we stand by the girl while her mother takes our picture. "Can I ask one more thing?" I nod and she continues. "Would you autograph my phone case?" I look at her phone case and smile. It's a photo of Charlie and I from practice. "What's your name?" Charlie asks gently. "Lydia" Charlie and I sign her phone case and I write.

She smiles at us and gives us a polite Thank you. Charlie and I get in the car to go home. Once we get home I start making something to eat. It turns out I have burned the grilled cheese so Charlie takes over makes new ones.
"Thank you. Charlie. I really suck at cooking food." I smiles shyly and he gives a low laugh. "Good thing one of us can cook." With that comment I throw the burnt grilled cheese at him.
"You did not just do that." He turn off the oven and comes at me. I start running up the stairs and shut my door but he pushes against it almost opening it. We are both laughing at each other. Charlie opens up the door and I hid in the closet smiling.
"Meryl..." He says as he comes towards the closet. He open up the doors and throws me over his shoulder. "Put me down!!" I say in a joking manner. He tosses me on the bed and pins be down. He begins to tickle me. "C-Charlie!! S-stop!" I say laughing. "Promise me
One thing." Charlie asks. I nod. "Promise me we will always be best friends? " Charlie says with all sincerity. "Of course Charlie. " he pulls me up into a right hug and lifts me up and spins me.
"Only a few more months until the olympics." Charlie says. "We are ready." I reply as he set me down. I smile at him as we sit down. "Hey kids how was your day?" Cheryl, my mom, comes in. "Mom, we have fans!! We were stopped by one it was amazing. And charlie protected me from the paparazzi." Cheryl looks over to Charlie and gives a silent 'thank you' "that's amazing!! Dinner will be done soon."
"Thanks you, Cheryl." Charlie says to her and smiles. When we go down for dinner Charlie and I sit side by side.
I poke his side and he makes a chuckling noise. My mom begins to clean up her things when I feel a strawberry hit me. "Charlie Allen White!" I hit his shoulder playfully. "Come on. Upstairs" Charlie says. "It's good that you are my partner I'm so happy."
Next chapter is where things get a little more playful and there feelings show.
