Aww how sweet

The 2 days until the start pass quickly. Charlie and I share a room at the hotel and we really need to get ready for the short program today. I put on the turquoise dress for Schereazade.

"You ready?" I ask Charlie. "Yes, don't be nervous. We got this. And after we win I have a surprise for you. " I smiles as Charlie says the last part. "COME ON KIDS WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE."

Our mothers scream to is through the walls. We both grab our skates and walk out. I didn't have time to put shoes on. "Get on my back. You are not ruining another pair of tights."

Charlie laughs and pulls me into his back. Both of our skates hitting against his chest. "Thank you my night in shining skates." I giggle and he sets me in the car. "Put on your shoes ice princess."

"Ice princess?" I ask curiously. "You needed a nickname. So I gave you one that fits." He said. "Thanks I love it. "

"Come on kids stop flirting we have 10 minutes before you preform." Charlie's mother says to us. We run in there and put on our skates.

"Up next the US world ice dancing champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White."

We go out on the ice an skate a perfect routine.

"Charlie, that was amazing" Cheryl says. "See you didn't drop her."

Charlie pants a quick 'thank you'. After we get out scores ( sorry I forget their scores) we go out to eat and back to the hotel.

Day 2 long program.

We skate through our long program easily. I don't slip at all and all of our moves are sharp. When the program ends a little girl hands me my stuffed animals. I give her one of the puppies.

"Thank you, Meryl!" She says with the brightest smile I've ever seen. "That was really sweet Meryl." Charlie says. "so, later tonight we find out the gold medalist" Charlie nudges me. "There's a lot of excellent skaters Charlie."

I say as Tessa and Scott come up to perform. "Yeah, but we had a clean skate with difficult steps." Charlie puts his arms around my waist. Attempting to comfort me. "I know." Charlie picks my up by my waist and swings me on to his back as we walk to starbucks, still in our skating attire. He wouldn't even let me take my skates off.

So as he walks I'm sneakers I can't even walk on the ground, even though I have my guards on. "You know,I wish I could've taken off my skates." I say calmly. "Too bad. You were being a downer you need coffee and chocolate." Charlie argues.

I let it go as he gets me coffee and chocolate. "I'm getting weird stares Charlie." I laugh. I see pictures being taken of my hanging on Charlie. A few fans come up to us. "Can we get a picture with you?" A couple asks. That's when the girl puts on her skates and the boy lifts her on his back.

"Matching picture." I say smiling. We Both wrap our feet around our partners waist to show of our skates. We smile for a picture. Then the girl sits on a chair and takes off her skates.

"That's really cool, to have a unique picture with you Guys thank you! " I smile. "Of course it was so fun!" "Isn't Meryl heavy Charlie?" The boy asks. "No. She's very light." Charlie says being honest. "Oh. I wasn't trying to be rude just wondering." "Don't worry you weren't rude." I tell him confidently. "Plus, it's his fault. He wouldn't let me take t skates off before we came." I laugh and so does the other girl. "Well thank you! We really appreciate it!"

Charlie starts walking us back with our coffees while I hold our chocolate. "That was cool. Nobody's every done that." Charlie says to me. "I know! Wait set me down on this bench. " he does as I ask and I google our names. "We have another headline. 'Charlie is spotted carrying Meryl on his back while she is fully dressed in skating attire-- including skates!' Wow media works fast. He picks me back up an we go back to the Olympic arena..
