A/n: lovely readers of mine, sadly with trying to get my drivers license and with uni starting up again soon, my updates will be quite inconsistent and sparse. But, I'll try my hardest to get new chapters up whenever I can!
That is all... enjoy this chapter 💖

One year.
One whole year has passed since I was dragged here and forced to help these monsters.
I gave up resisting a few months in after being beaten to the brink of death and starved to the same point one too many times.
Don't get me wrong, I still led them on the wrong path or left out some parts of my visions. But I truly gave up resisting when Luka paid me a visit one particular night.
*flashback*
"Oh no no no sweetheart," Luka began, bursting into my room, if you could even call it that. "I have some wonderful news!" He's practically beaming at this point which rips a whole ton of fear through my body.
His joy doesn't cease when he realises I have no intention of humouring him with a reply.
"You now have absolutely no reason to misbehave." My fear quickly turns into confusion.
"With no more loved ones to feel the need to protect from us, you can tell us everything you see when you see it without a moments hesitation!" I feel my heart shoot up into my throat but refuse to listen to him and his bullshit.
He tuts and rolls his eyes at my lack of response. "Even with a power from the moon goddess herself, you lack even a simple form of intelligence so I'll just save you the trouble of figuring it out for yourself. We have successfully found and disposed of your parents as well as your little friend, your alpha, oh and your whole pack."
At that the whole world stops. His voice fades into nothing and my gaze falls onto nowhere in particular, staring into nothing as a lone tear finds its way from my eye and down my cheek.
Memories begin to attack me from every which way.
Memories of my mum teaching me how to french braid my hair. Memories of my dad tucking me into bed and kissing my forehead. Memories of my best friend Mary, who had left the pack in search of her mate just a month before my birthday, she probably never got to find him. Memories of my loved ones telling me they love me. The only memories I'll ever have of them and maybe even of life outside of this prison.
Not that I cared anymore, I have nothing and no one waiting for me out there anymore.
He has taken everything from me. Everything I ever loved.
Rage fills me as I look the beast in the eyes.
With all the strength I can physically fathom, I jump at him ready to rip him to shreds, ignoring the searing pain from the collar around my neck being pressed into my already raw skin as I reach and swipe at him but with no success.
As I finally give into the pain on my neck, I drop to the floor and clutch my chest as it feels as if my heart is being slowly ripped from my chest.
When my hearing begins to return, all I can hear is his mocking laughter.
"I thought you'd appreciate that news." He grinned. "That's all I came to say, I just couldn't wait to tell you!"
If you hadn't known the context to his excitement, you'd probably never expect this to be his reasoning.
He turns to leave, his laughter continuing until the door slams shut behind him and I'm once again alone.
*end of flashback*
