Chapter 3 : Mr. Right

[ Lauren’s POV ]

A few days after, Kiseop has recovered and was able to speak :) He drove me to my new school for the inscriptions where I met the headmaster. I asked him if it was possible to accept Emy in their school. He said that he had to check her grade books before making any decision…

When we got home I quickly picked up my phone to call Emy. She told me that William is coming to Seoul the next week for work and would stay more than 6 months. So if she could be accepted in my school she would come with him.

Emy finally passed!!! *How can she not pass... We have already known how smart she is right?*

I was so happy that Emy was going to be my classmate again for this year! I have to tell Kiseop now! I was so excited!!! So I went at Bonjour, the café where he is working.

He worked there since 18. At first, he was taking lessons to learn how to make coffees, now he’s a professional barista. That was the reason why he didn’t come with us to California. Eventually, he has achieved his goal. I’m so proud of him. He had always been strong, that's why I always feel protected when he is around. He is just like a big brother to me. Even if his face looks exactly the same as William’s, he’s completely different inside. He is much more mature than his younger twin…

I finally found his working place, I got in and saw a… PRINCE?

“Hello! May I help you?” he lightly smiled at me.

I couldn’t speak. I was frozen.

“Hello?” he said again.

“Um… Hello. Is Kiseop in there?” I asked confusedly.

“No, sorry he’s out. It’s break time. Do you have something important to tell him?”

“Well…not really…” I scratched my head.

“Sorry, I’m not working here, I don’t know the staffs’ schedules.  I’m the owner’s son. So here’s my number, I’ll call you when he’s back okay? My name’s Kevin,” he smiled and handed me a little sheet of paper.

Speaking English

“You speak English?” I raised my eyebrows.

“Yeah, sort of… I come from San Francisco,” he said shyly.

“Me too!!! I’m Lauren,” I said almost screaming because of the excitement, and regret my behavior just a second after…

So I gave him my number and went back home. Only two days before meeting my BFFs!!! I went immediately on Skype to chat with Emy. I told her about Kevin.

“What? Rich? Tall? Cute? Nice? American Asian? OMG!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!” Emy screamed through the mic.

“Hey you have just killed my ears! Unbelievable, but true! I met him at Bonjour!!!” I grinned.

“Seems like somebody’s heart has been stolen :P ” she smirked (I can feel it…).

“Single???” she added.

“Dunno…” I replied sadly.

“I bet he’s already taken, even if he’s not, you must be at the end of his love requests list,” she said.

“Ahahaha nice joke…” I laughed ironically.  

So the conversation ended up here…  I checked my phone and saw a message from Kevin!

“He came back to take his jacket, he might be home within 10 minutes.”

Emy was probably right, a guy like him wouldn’t date someone like me. He’s not even interested…

“No no no! Lauren, are you going to give up like a s*** without even trying? I know you since you’re born *obvious* you have never behaved that coward before!"

Um did I just talked to myself loudly, hope Kiseop isn’t home yet.

He was there… looking at me with that weird face o.O I’m happy that he doesn’t speak English ^^’
