Chapter 28 : It must be fate

[ Lauren’s POV ]

{ In AJ’s car }

When I got in his car, I told him about Kevin hoping he could help me to make a choice

“So, do you mean that you have to answer him tomorrow?”

“Yeah… I’m still very confused.”

“What is he to you?”

“I don’t know I usually sort out my guy friends in three categories.”

“Which ones?”

“The enemy’s class, the best friend’s or brother’s class and the potential  boyfriend’s class… I still don’t know in which one Kevin belongs to… He’s between the best friend and crush category which is quite troublesome.”

“I’m curious in which category I am. Luckily, I’m sure that I’m not in the “enemy’s class” anymore,” he smiled.

“You should know, you can read minds…” I mumbled.

“But I can’t read yours.”

His answer made me a bit uncomfortable, so I asked a random question just to break the silence.

“So where are we going now?”

“Um… I have to buy some ingredients for the dinner, my mom has made a list,” he handed me a piece of paper.

“Soy bean, cabbage, carrots…” I read the list while he was driving to the store.

{ In the supermarket }

“I have to buy some cakes for the dessert but the shop is a bit further. Can you find the ingredients first? I’ll join you later,” I nodded and he left.

Calling Jaeseop

“Hey, I finished! I’ve bought everything on the list! Where are you?”

“I’m at…” I heard the phone fell on the ground.

“Jaeseop?!” I panicked.

After 2 minutes, I saw people running in front of me. I caught a random person in the crowd and asked him what was going on.

“A young boy has been hit by a car in front of the bakery.”

Please, don’t tell me it’s Jaeseop… I tried to call him again but he didn’t answer. My hands were shaking and tears started to fall from my eyes.

“Why are you crying?” someone gave me a gentle tape on my shoulder. I turned back to face him and froze.  He was alive!

“Did you think that I was dead?” Jaeseop chuckled.

“YA!” I raised my hands, he thought that I was going to slap him so he moved back. I caught him and fell into his arms.

He patted my hair and explained me that he has only seen what happened but wasn’t hurt. He released his hands, looked in my eyes before leaning in for a kiss. I was relieved that he was safe, at the same time I was still bewildered because of what happed recently.  I didn’t think more and kissed him back.

 

[ AJ’s POV ]

“I know the answer.”

“The answer for what?” she looked up.

“I’m in the boyfriend category,” she blushed, it was cute to see.

“How about Kevin?” she asked worried.

“I will  handle it.”

“Give me the ring,” she took out a box from her bag sadly and gave it to me.

“Last time you weren’t my real girlfriend but now I would like you to wear it,” I took her right hand ring finger and slide it in.

“The other hand is for later," I smirked to myself.

PS: The story started In August and ended in the same month a year later. Maybe you have already noticed it, I’ve used the title of one of the U-KISS’ songs *because It’s a special night~~~* I will post the two last parts before September (so there won’t be any update before Sunday). There will be one episode for the E couple and one for Willy Wonka. I’m sorry for the ones, have expected Lauren and Kevin to be together but if this story reaches more than 3000 views, I will write another story for Kevin ;) I hope you enjoyed this chapter, see you soon~~~
