Chapter 14 : Jealousy

[ Lauren’s POV ]

We were on the 24th of December and everyone was busy. Emy and I were preparing ourselves in the bathroom. I wore a light grey dress, a pink faux-fur cardigan with high heels laced-boots and tied my hair into a messy bun. Emy wore a dark red lace shirt and a leather skirt with a poufy ponytail.

Kevin and Jun were already waiting for us in the living room. Dongho has disappeared, he was probably on a date too… When we got out, the boys were speechless. After they have complimented us, Kevin came to offer me his arm, and so did Jun to Emy. When we left, the guys were still in their pajamas sitting on the couch and watching cartoons, except Soohyun who was lying on the floor and eating chips.

{ At the restaurant }

Emy and Jun went to the same restaurant as us but we haven’t sat together.

We have only ordered a starter and a main course because we were supposed to eat the Christmas log cake together at midnight.

“Oh! I’ve got this for you,” Kevin handed me a little red box.

“Can I open it?”

“Of course, it’s yours now,” he smiled nervously.

It was a snow globe, there were many bunnies inside it. That was so cute! :3

“Thank you, I really like it! I have also prepared something for you,” I took the chocolates box and the Christmas card out of my bag and gave it to him.

After reading the card (on which was written: “I’m glad that you came and I truly enjoyed all the time we’ve spent together. Merry Christmas! Lauren”), he smiled and gave me a small peck on my cheek. My face immediately flushed!

At this moment, the dorks (the pajamas’ crew) entered. So Kevin and I started to treat each other in all modesty.

“Do you want some water?” Kevin asked me awkwardly.

“Um… Please…”

[ Eli’s POV ]

{ At a bar }

“It’s not good for you!” Jaeseop urged me to stop drinking.

“What?” I took another shot of whisky.

“Drink to drown the love sorrows.”

“How about you? Aren’t you jealous that Lauren is dating someone else?” he didn’t reply.

“I never saw you going that upset for a girl… If this last more than a month…”

“What will happen?”

“That means that you’re in deep s***…”

“Shut up psychologist!”

After two hours, Jaeseop brought me back to the inn. We ate the Christmas cake and the girls gave us the chocolate they’ve made yesterday. Jaeseop and Kevin have received a special box, so did Jun. At the end, I’ve noticed that my box was similar to the others so I throw it and went to sleep.

“Sorry Emy, he’s drunk,” Jaeseop tried to comfort her.

“It’s okay,” she nodded sadly and followed me.

{ In Eli’s room }

“This is so ugly!” I pointed at her new necklace.

“If I were your boyfriend I would never offer this s*** for you as a Christmas present. You deserve so much better!”

“You’re drunk,” she patted my hair and left.
