Chapter 11 : It's getting dark

[ Lauren’s POV ]

Emy told me last night that she started to date Jun but I had to keep it secret. It was the second day of the holidays, we have decided to sledge racing. Each of us has to choose a partner.

“Emy, I want to be…” Eli didn’t have time to finish.

“You are coming with me!” I said to him.

“Why?!”

“Because her partner is Jun!”

“Get out, she’ll be in my team!” Kevin pushed him and I blushed.

“Why are you all so mean! Come on Jaeseop we don’t need them!”

“Um… Sorry I’m taken, I’m with Soohyun, he asked me first.”

“Sorry!” Dongho and William said before he had the chance to ask.

Jaeseop and Soohyun won and everyone started to throw them snowballs, especially Eli who was mad of his best friend.

The evening after dinner

We decided to watch a movie.

“How about Saw?” Emy suggested and I punched her.

Everybody has agreed, some of them didn’t seem to be enthusiastic about it but all of them wanted to show their “manly side”. William asked me twice if I was sure to watch it because he knew that every time we watched a scary movie, I wasn’t able to sleep alone after. I was sitting next to William and Kevin and Emy sat between Jun and Eli.

“As we say in Piano Tiles, it’s getting dark hahaha!” William teased me.

“Shhh!” we said to William and Dongho because they were speaking to loudly.

They have finally left the room to discuss about games again. Kevin was scared too, he wasn’t able to comfort me… Emy was calming Eli and Jun seemed to be jealous. Jaeseop came to sit next to me and patted my back gently. It was weird to say that but we got along quite well yesterday after snowboarding together.

When the film ended, everyone was back to their room. Emy fell asleep quickly even if I left the light on. I went to the bathroom and heard some noises. I took my deodorant and waited. The door opened and I sprayed the deodorant.

“AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!” it was Jaeseop.

 “Oh it’s you…” I scratched my head.

“How old are you to believe in ghost!”

I helped him to wash his eyes and apologized again.

“Aren’t you going? I need to take a shower.”

“Well, um… I can’t go back. I’m too scared.”

He brought me back to my room.

“Goodnight,” he said walking towards the door and I caught his arm.

“Can you stay until I fall asleep?” I asked with puppy eyes.

Emy was sleeping on the top, he sat on my bed and we talked…

[ Eli’s POV ]

The morning

I went to Emy’s room to wake her up and saw Jaeseop and Lauren sleeping together. I went out the room and screamed.

“OMG! OMG! OMG!”

The others came and asked me what happened.

“Jaeseop and Lauren slept together last night!”

“But they don’t even like each other,” William said confused.

“But my eyes never lie.”

“Kevin, why are you eating so much? What are we going to eat if you finished all the food!” I yelled at him.

He didn’t reply and kept eating hungrily.
