I really want to believe them, but you can't trust Brennen around a pretty girl. He is like horny 24/7. I hope that whatever is happening between these two, wont end with one of them, or both, hurt

Corey's POV

Me, Sam and Aaron are currently in the kitchen chatting.

"Can you believe that Jake had a relationship with a gold digger?" Asks Sam.

"I mean I don't blame him, she was pretty hot. Like, if she wanted to be in a relationship with me, I wouldn't have noticed either" answers Aaron

"Well we cant really answer to that. I mean yeah she was okay but no girl compares to Devyn" I say while Dev stands behind me. I swear I didn't know lmao.

"I love you baby"

"Holy shit you were standing there the whole time?"

"Nope I just heard the no girl compares to Devyn part and I loved it"

"Awww" Sam and Aaron say

"Shut up"

Nat's POV

I. Am. So. Tired. I can't even open my eyes from the tiredness. I think I will take a nap. Considering I am already in Jake's room (just because I wanted to wear my PJs) I lay on the bed and drift away.

Many things cross my mind as I make an attempt to fall asleep. For example. Why did Jake hide his relationship? Why is this Gabby bitch so annoying? How am I going to get her to stop getting on my best friend's nerves? What is going on between me and Brennen?

Ugh my head hurts from all the thinking. Before I realize it, I fall asleep.

Jake's POV

I am over thinking again. I'm stressed. I need to tell them why I was hiding such a thing. I just want to sleep. But I have to edit a video cause I haven't posted in like two weeks.

I decide to take my laptop to my room and edit there. Once I open the door, I see Nat sleeping on my bed. Oh shit. I dont even want to face her anymore. This is how ashamed I am. I peacefully sit on the air mattress and pull the laptop to my laps. I look towards her. She is so beautiful. Oh god. I think I'm falling in love I will cry. She shifts from her current position and I quickly turn my head to the screen. As I pressed play, loud noise fills the room. Fuck I forgot to plug the earphones. I look at Nat and see that she has woken up. She looks so lost. Her hair is in a super messy bun, she is wearing a night gown and she is looking at me.

"Fuck. Im sorry Nat I didnt mean to wake you up. I forgot t-"

"Its okay. Plus, we need to talk. Like now." Fuck.

"Pffff yeah i think you are right. go ahead. Ask me anything"

"First of all, why did you hide the fact that you were in a relationship for so long?"

"Um alright I will tell you. But please dont judge me"

"Jake I would never. I just want to know"

"okay. The real reason is that i didnt want to bring her over. This is because I feel like she would get attracted to Colby since he is more handsome than me. And I know that Colby would not try to sTeAl her from me, but I was afraid she was going to lose interest in me. That's all"

"Oh my gosh Jake. You are wrong. First of all, I think you are better looking that Colby. And I am not saying this because he is my cousin. I genuinely believe this. And trust me its for the best that you broke up. Hey hey don't be sad. Life goes on. There are so many better girls that her. I know that there is someone out there who is made for you. Who will understand you, love you for who you are, whether you have money or not and be there for you anytime."

that was deep. This girl really knows how to make others feel better. And she is right. I am not gonna sit here being sad for something that is over. Ugh I love her. She hugs me and then we go downstairs because I need to tell everyone what I just told Nat.
