CHAPTER 27

After 2 weeks of Humaira been in coma without any improvement she finally opened her eyes today

As she opened her eyes she saw a man with a white coat looking at her, she looked around and spotted computers and two nurses holding a tray with injections

Hello your finally awake i would like to ask you some few questions to be sure said the doctor to Humaira

Whats is your name he asked

Humaira Humaira said looking at the doctor but there was pain she felt all over her body when she looked down she saw bandage all over her

What happened to me said Humaira the doctor looked at her

Could you recall anything that has happened to you he asked

No i don't she said shes feeling a pain on her head

Call here relatives outside said the doctor to a nurse which she did

Amir Abubakar humra came inside first leaving the rest outside

Humaira thank God your alright said amir moving close to her

Do you recognize any of them said the doctor to her but she kept staring at them trying to remember but the harder she goes the darker the room gets

Pain...p..p she said and then she passed out again

Nurse get ready i think we need to rescan her brain he shouted there might be an internal wound hurry up he shouted

Humaira please please don't leave me said amir crying holding Humairas hand    

Please doctor save my sister please said humra crying also

Please you guys should go out please take her quickly shouted the doctor.

Since after her surgery she didn't talk to anyone she became so numb the doctor advice that we take her to all the places she has gone to before that it will help her

It kills me inside that my sister is like that she doesn't talk to anyone,she doesn't smile nor eat unless she was feed she became so lifeless

Hello Humaira i said walking up to see her eyes opened but she didn't reply i entered the bathroom i took my bath and bathed her. I put her long gown and we went downstairs after i got ready.

Humaira said maimuna hugging her but still no response then i pushed her wheelchair to the dinning table

Ina kuwanan ku ( good morning) i said and everyone smiled at me and Humaira but as usual one person was missing amir

Humaira lets eat i told her but no respond i tried feeding her but the food just pours i got so frustrated and started shouting at her

    
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO YOURSELF HUMAIRA WHAT CAN'T YOU JUST LET GO, WHY CANT YOU JUST COME BACK TO LIFE YOUR NOT ONLY KILLING YOUR SELF BUT YOUR KILLING US ALSO ESPECIALLY AMIR HUMAIRA PLEASE TALK TO ME TALK SAY SOMETHING TO ME i shouted and i left a hand on my shoulder take it easy my dear please said amirs mum crying also

I ran out of the house to the near by park and the shouted all the frustration out after a little while i went back and saw her facing the television still the way she was and i took her out of the house to the Halima house hoping she will cry and come back to life

When we went into the house with the help of the maid inside i took her to the same room

Look Humaira see mom and dad i said showing her there picture crying my eyes out

Please Humaira come back to me i miss you so much my sister please ....please. please .....look at our baby picture  please cry for me sister i said crying at my lifeless sister

After a while still no responds we went home when we entered the house i saw an old woman seated with amir,Abubakar mum and dad. When she saw Humaira she stood up and we close to her and stated crying

DanAllah ki yafe mun Humaira DanAllah( please forgive me humaira pls) she said crying we all looked at her confused.

But the next thing that surprised us was Humaira looked at her but still no responds

Na miki abun da baza ki taba yafe mun ba( i did something that you will never forgive) she said crying

Mai kika mata ( what did you do to her) i asked her

Na cuce ta, nayi amfani da ita dan son kudi ,na bata mata rayuwa danAllah kuce ta yafe mun( i used her to get money i have spoilt her life please tell her to forgive me) the old woman said

Ya kika bata mata rauwa (how did you spoil her life) said dad

Nasa ta harka da maza dan dole tin tana karam na hanata karatu,na dauketa,ta kaika gidajen mutaneh aiki..... na kusan mata auren dole da wani tsohon mutum( i made her mingle with boys at a very young, i didn't allow her to study,i took her to different houses to work i almost got her married to an old man) she said holding her leg

I knelt down and started crying because the pain i felt in my heart is unexplainable

DanAllah tashi ki tafi kafin yani abu ya faru( please stand up and go before something happens to you) said dad

DanAllah ki yafe mun ( please forgive me) she said and then he left the house in fear cause amir was almost about to kill her

Humaira nodded her head looking at her but didn't talk to her  Babu komai ki tashi ki tafi (no problem stand up and go) she told her than she looked at her sister

Who told you I was going to leave you just like that she said smiling

That was not funny idiot she said sipping away her tears
