12) Sherlock

John is a teenager some where between the ages 11 to 13 you pick

He is homeless 

a runaway

an abused kid

home was horrible dad left when is was little, mom is drinks, barely works, or bring home guys, Sister (Harry) drunks is over the age of 18 in and out of relationships doesn't live at home

John got hit around by his mom, Harry yell horrible things at him when she is drunk and she doesn't come by the house much.

John runs away to London.

John does odd jobs, beg, steals, and act like an doctor for those on the street mostly the street kids.

one day he helps and or saves Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock takes him in because he see that John has talent.

They grow brother/father and son like bond to each other. No relationship here just because of the age difference.

Soon the cases from the show start to happen

Mycroft is good caring brother. He helps Sherlock get guardianship of John. He helps watch out for John and once in well take care of him when he can't go with Sherlock.

Greg Lestrade also help watch out for John as well.

There should be Sherlock bashing Anderson and Donovan

And of course, at least I think, that John should get hurt and end up in the hospital. Because I see Sherlock freaking out and going into the mother-hen mode.
