Wizarding world in America is more with the time unlike England Wizarding World like using pens and paper, figured out how to use electrics with magic by using magic running them or having runes.

Magical children learn both muggle "no-maj" and magical subjects (the theory side of things) and start at the age of 5. At the age of 11 gets their wands start to work more with magic.

Bashing

Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Molly Weasley, Ginny, Elena (I really don't like her), maybe Stefan

The classic betrayal by Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley stealing, lying, thinking that they can control him, trying to get him to marry Ginny, giving him potions.

-the Dursleys are found out for abusing Harry (a lot worse than in the books and in the movies)

Harry finds out that he has an uncle - Alaric Saltzman

Ric is the half-brother of Petunia and Lily

they share the same dad

Harry is sent to live with him

Should start before Elena is kidnapped and is brought to Rose and Trevor

Harry should get kidnapped with Elena. The whole wrong place and time thing pretty much.

Harry is Henrik or reborn Henrik

Elijah sees Harry and sees Henrik (just imagine that they look a like)

Elijah decides to take Harry as well

Follow the plot from there just add in Harry

One or the other

-Alaric has Damon "Compel" Harry to forget what happen but doesn't work on him because of his magic but plays along with it.

-Compulsion works and Harry forgets that he was kidnapped. 

no one knows that Harry has magic

Elena doesn't like Harry 

Damon being Damon can be dick but also good will take care of Harry almost like the annoying older brother.

Stefan following Elena around like a lost puppy and does what she says

Harry makes friends with Tyler Lockwood and Jeremy and The Mikaelson

Harry gaining memories of his life as Henrik

Klaus doesn't take Harry with him for the summer after becoming the Hybrid

But he is there at Senior Prank Night Even the though he isn't a senior 

Harry is in the know now

Harry meets Mikael 

Ester connects Harry to the rest of the siblings because she thinks that he is evil in someway

Then he is Kidnapped by Ester and Finn and was going to be used for his magic 

He is with when Finn dies 

Harry causes magical outburst because of Finn's death

Then another at Kol's death 

He is angry with the Scooby Gang 

I think he should go with either Elijah or Nik when they leave Mystic Falls
