A woman walked in circles around Sam, watching as he fell further and further under her spell. Soft chuckles filled his head as he lost himself to the siren. Bending down, Sam gives her full access to everything she needs.
"Now that's a good boy," she stopped in her tracks, laced her fingers through his hair. "My own hunter pet." She spat. The woman walked to the other side of the Impala, sliding into the passenger's seat. Sam got in parallel to her. Not long after the Impala sped off.Dean's phone alarm went off at 5:45 A.M. He rolled over with a grunt to shut off his alarm. As the hunter got comfortable again, he sprung up from under the covers and looked at the bed across from him. There, Adalyne lay passed out with a beer bottle in her hand. It took Dean a second to process why she was there, then he remembered the night prior.
Once the two realized they had found their teenage sweethearts, they went out. Dean took her to the same clearing he had all those years ago. They lay on the hood of Sheriff Hanks's car, watching the stars. Adalyne insisted they drank a couple of beers while there. She ended up passing out, Dean drove her back to the motel and carried her to Sam's bed.
Dean smiled at the sleeping beauty, then walked into the kitchen to look out the window and check for his brother. He hadn't seen Sam since last night. Usually, he would've checked in with his older brother by now. Dean looked back at Adalyne then left the motel room, taking her car with him. He drove down to the station to see if Sam was there.
Adalyne woke up only to be startled by her surroundings. All she remembered was finally finding Dean. The rest was just an emotional blur. She quietly got out of the bed to check if Dean was still there.
"Maybe he went to go get breakfast or something..." she mumbled to herself. She wondered around the room before finding herself bored. On Dean's bed sat a duffel bag. She knew that she probably shouldn't go through the FBI Agent's belongings, but she did anyway. The Sheriff unzipped the bag and found all sorts of questionable items. Syringes filled with blood. Bottles labeled holy water, little bags filled with bones. Frightened, she zipped the bag up then ran to find her clothes. When she pulled her shoes on, Dean walked into the room holding food.
"I didn't know what you wanted so I-" he paused when he saw the expression that lay on Adalyne's face. "Addy, you alright?" Dean set the food on the table then walked towards the Sheriff. The closer he got, the farther she'd step away.
"What are you?" She barked in a shaky voice. Dean stopped. "What is all that you have in your bag? All of that satanic crap," Adalyne pointed at the duffel bag.
"Dammit..." Dean cursed under his breath. "Adalyne you'll need to sit down for this." The Sheriff looked at her long lost friend while hesitantly sitting on the edge of the bed. For the next half hour or so, Dean explained what he and Sam did for a living."That's why I left, I swear to you I'm not lying." Dean ran his fingers through his hair and watched all the emotions distort the Sheriff's face.
"So... You hunt monsters, your partner is little Sammy, and you're both posing as FBI Agents so you can see the crime scenes?" She exhaled heavily after saying that.
"Look, I know it's a lot to take in, if it's easier for you to think I'm crazy then go ahead-" Dean stopped when he felt Adalyne hug him. She breathed heavily and hugged him tightly.
"Dean, you could've been hurt. All these years I was worried that something had happened to you. Oh god, what if I never saw you again?" The hunter pushed her back so he could see her face and smiled.
"But I'm fine, I'm fine and I'm here right now. I've finally got you again..." Adalyne smiles then kissed his forehead.
"Sammy's not so little anymore, is he?" Adalyne whispered into Dean's ear, which caused him to giggle.Sam parked the Impala across the street from the motel he and Dean were staying at. The siren made him wait till the sun had set, so there would be fewer witnesses. Sam's phone had many missed calls, all from his brother. Soon, the sun was nowhere to be seen, the siren sent the soldier to do what he did best. Hunt.
Dean had just put in a movie for him and Adalyne to watch when he heard knocking. He tilted his head in slight confusion. The knocking continued. With a defeated sigh, the hunter got up to answer the door. When he opened it, he was greeted by a harsh shove from his brother.
"Sam! The hell!?" Dean looked back at his love, who had already grabbed a gun. Sam shoved his brother again, sending him colliding into the fridge.
"Sorry Dean, but I need to do this." The younger hunter pulled out a knife and stalked towards his brother. Adalyne jumped in front of Dean and had her gun pointed at Sam.
"No don't!" Dean shoved the gun away from her and stood up. "Sam, whatever the siren did to you, you need to fight it!" With that, Sam stopped and watched as a woman walked up from behind him.
"So smart, that you are. I saw that you boys rolled into town, and I just had to get a taste." She crept forward and towards the Sheriff.
"Adalyne get behind me!" Dean put an arm in front of the Sheriff.
"Aww, now why would she do that, she'd be missing out on all the fun." The siren turned away to face Sam. "My precious pet, I might keep you after all of this." Dean looked at Adalyne, fright filled her eyes.
"I love you-"
"And I love you too Agent. I'll love you forever if you kill him." She pointed at Dean who now had his gun cocked at the monster.
"If you shoot, your friend will just jump in front of me." The woman cackled at the thought of that happening. She was cut off when Sam shrieked in pain. The Sheriff and sent a wooden stake through Sam's shoulder. "Ah, stupid girl." The siren groaned then showed her true form. Her fist crashed into Adalyne's face, she knocked out cold. The wooden stake fell from her hand and rolled towards Dean. Sam got back up from the floor and charged towards his brother. The older of the two socked him in the gut.
"Sorry Sam," he apologized quietly. Sam took longer to get back up, while he did, Dean grabbed the wooden stake and sent it through the siren's chest. She gasped and looked Dean in the eye. A second later she collapsed onto the floor. The Winchester rushed towards his little brother, who had blood leaking from his shoulder.
"Dean?" He croaked. Dean nodded his head before helping him up. "Dean I'm so sorry-" The older Winchester hugged him.
"It's fine, we'll fix you up later." With that being said, he turned his attention to Adalyne, who was passed out on the floor. He gave a sad smile then picked her up and carried her to his bed. Sam followed him and collapsed onto his own bed.
"I'm probably gonna need stitches..." Sam chuckled to his brother. Dean nodded.
"Yeah probably." He grabbed the first aid kit from the duffel bag and threw it to Sam.Adalyne woke up and was met with horrible pain in her jaw. She remembered being punched, that's probably why. She felt someone move behind her, she looked over to see Dean facing away from her. She smiled and hugged him from behind. He flinched slightly but then loosened. Adalyne put her lips to his and pressed a soft kiss.
"Night Dean," she whispered to him, then fell back to deep sleep.Gross, I'm so sorry!!! But yeah, I'm finished. Took me a while but I'm here, sorry for the shittyness though. I'm not the best writer. Anyway, I really hope y'all liked this book. Thanks for reading!!!
