Turmoil between Soul and Soulmate

CHAPTER 10

Maya called Jayson,

"Ahhh... BUSY ??"

The next moment her phone buzzed it was Jayson,

"Hey i was just calling", said Maya,

"As expected, sweet heart", replied Jayson

"What did you expect ?? ", she asked,

"That my darling could call me", " i was waiting but then i couldn't wait anymore so i called you myself", he replied,

"Ahh... What am i hearing ? Is that even true ? Is it raining ? Is it eighth day of the week ??", she freaked,

She was so happy that Jayson wanted to talk to her!!

"Drama Queen!!", he chuckled,

"I am not", she said adding, " Did you have anything special to tell me ??"

"Yeah, I just thought that ..... Okay listen can we meet somewhere ??", he asked her,

"Oh!! Now i got it, I am not talking to Jayson, I am talking to some ghost", "Tell me what do you want Ghost, you want to meet me and drink my blood or are you gonna eat me up??", she sincerely tuned her voice to make it sound like truth,

" Hey Drama Queen, can you stop acting and tell me whether you are free??", he smiled and let out his words,

"Okay, Let me check my schedule and fix a appointment for you......", she dragged and added " how about 5 in the evening",

"Delighted , madame !!", he said,

At this both of them chuckled.

"So were are we going to meet ??", this was Maya,

"I didn't think about it at all", he said,

"How about beach" , she yelled,

"Okay baby, I will pick you by 5pm from your home", he said.

Maya was so happy at all these twist of scenes, she wanted to meet him, but he himself called her to meet," he is after-all not that bad", she thought,

"She is a baby and how am i going to make her understand things", Jayson thought.

It has been 5 minutes since they have started to beach,

Jayson was driving fast through the roads crowded slowly moving to deserted lane,

Maya was enjoying the scenic beauty, 

"Will she jump right away from bike??", Jayson thought,

"Will he even open his mouth??", Maya thought,

Jayson stopped the bike and finally spoke , "Get down, come lets go!!"

"Wow finally you spoke??", Maya asked,

He laughed and they started walking, 

"Won't you hold my hand??", Maya asked,

"There are people everywhere", he said,

"So what ??", she asked,

"Nothing!!", he said and held her hands.

Maya was busy admiring  the sun set, 

"What are you staring at??", Jayson asked,

"See how much we know about greatness of sun, Its a ball of fire but that constant effort of sea waves have cooled it down and its giving up now!!"

Jayson didn't know how to react, how can a simple sunset be picturised by her alone so unexpectedly , he thought,

"I should tell him that i want more time from him", Maya thought,

She was about to say something, but she was hindered by Jayson,

"I want to tell you something", he said,

"What ?", she asked utmost immediately,

"Maya i think you should start concentrating more on studies", he said

"What do you mean??", Maya responded,

"Now that we are together, I want you to study well and get settled soon, also i will do same", he paused,

"But I am studying already na..." , She sounded hurt,

Jayson understood her,

He replied, "I know it baby, but only if we get settled, we can marry soon and be together forever right",

There was immediately lot of happiness around her face,

"I will not disturb you, rather i will help you, I will also study well and prove myself", she replied immediately.

"She is a sweet heart, My baby", Jayson thought,

"Why didn't i understand him??, Why didn't i think like him?? , After all he said all this for us, I should start listening to him", Maya thought,

"Can we go ??", Jayson asked,

"But can we stay for some more time its fun!!", Maya said,

"But its getting Dark and I have to leave my princess safely at home", Jayson said softly,

Maya immediately hugged Jayson and thought "How sweet he is!", 

Understanding his uncomfortable feeling she moved away, she knew well that Jayson doesn't like Public Display of Affection,

She smiled and murmured sorry,

Now Jayson wouldn't resist himself seeing her cute reaction,

He pecked her in her cheeks,

Maya blushed and they started walking,

This time Jayson holding Maya's hand firmly with all love he had in his heart.
