Turmoil between Soul and Soulmate

CHAPTER 15

"Baby i will come in few days, Please don't miss me, we can talk in the phone till that", Jayson told,

"Okayyy, but please come soon then come to meet me",This was Maya,

Maya never tried talking to her roomies,

From besties now they are just roomies,

Maya didn't mind about it,

She had Jayson.

Jayson is going to Goa, for some educational tour with his college mates and this means that he can't talk to Maya properly now,

"What do you want me to buy from Goa for you", Jayson asked,

"I don't want anything, I just want you please come soon", she said again.

It has been two days since that conversation and she has spoken to Jayson for 20 minutes in this 48 hours,

She was feeling damn bored, also she was running out of books,

She planned to go to library,

She started hating weekends now,

On the way, when she crossed that garage, she just peeped a bit in and started walking again,

She didn't want that guy to see her peeping,

"Can i get some Tamil books",Maya asked the librarian,

"Yup sure can you ask that boy over there, he will guide you", 

she pointed her fingers towards the corner, where a boy was standing with some books and Maya walked towards that boy, after thanking her,

"Hey", she said with no other way to address him,

He turned back and smiled at her,

"How are you??", he asked her,

Maya didn't want to see this guy again , she thought "why is he being friendly to me??",

It was not that Maya didn't like talking to people, but she was uncomfortable with strangers, that too this guy , he lied to her.

"I wanted some books, but i came to wrong person i think", she said and started moving,

"I guess you will love this book", he said and showed her a big book,

"Udaintha nilakal, By Paa.vijay", "Wow i always wanted to read it, Thank you ", she said,

He just smiled back,

Maya was about to move,

"Can i ask you something??", he asked her,

"Yup sure what ??", she said still in hurry to move away,

"Why are you scared of me ??", he asked,

"Nothing of that sort", she tried to sound confident this time,

"Okay then, there is a event tomorrow in library, for adding a new section for Tamil, if you are free can you come??", he said as fast as he can before she runs away,

"Yup i will come she said immediately"

Then she thought "tomorrow is Sunday so i can come but should i really meet this guy again??",

"And i want you to give a small speech about "cultivating reading habit", In Tamil", he added,

"I have never spoke to you in Tamil, what made you think that i can speak Tamil and also what made you think that i will speak", Maya asked this time with a smile,

"I know you can speak, Just come here by 5p.m",he sounded confident and compelling this time,

"Okay" she said and moved away.

"You spoke really well, see i guessed it right", he told proudly,

"Thank you", she said and added " What's your name??",

"Finally you thought of asking, I am Dhuruv", he said,

"Nice name, and I am Maya" , she added, 

"Not good as yours", he said,

and added "can you wait till i finish my blabbering over there and showed Dias",

He spoke well,

He quoted from so many famous Tamil poet ,

"He had bold and husky voice with good modulation", Maya thought.

"How was it??, Did i make mistake", Dhuruv asked,

"Nope but its thimurtha gnana seruku, you left that word 'thimurtha', she said,

"Guess i left it purposefully, I don't like girls who shows attitude", he finished,

Maya felt it rude, It was totally opposite version of Jayson,

Jayson liked girls who are bold,

who are capable of doing things their way with attitude,

She smiled thinking of Jayson,

"Thank god My Jayson is not so male chauvinistic like him", she thought.
