Turmoil between Soul and Soulmate

CHAPTER 6

Jayson searched everywhere in school for Maya,

He couldn't find her, He was getting desperate now,

He thought what if i don't talk to her, If i can't now, then we will have study holidays, then how will i meet her ?? , Thoughts were moving in speed overtaking light .

Joel who understood, Jayson's state of mind asked , " Did you check Backstage?? "

The next moment Jayson and Joel was there.

Ad mist lot of girls who were doing make up for different programs, there was that girl " Maya".

Already some program has started and that announcement was so loud,

Jayson and Joel walked towards Maya ,

Joel immediately said "wow !! " in astonishment,

Maya asked, " What happen ??" blinking her eyes, 

"Do I look good ??", She asked becoming little conscious, though it looked as if she was asking both of them, She was looking intently and asking Jayson,

"Not good, You look Great !! , " said Joel.

There was announcement in mic, this time calling Jayson's name, Jayson sign towards Maya as if he will come in 2 minutes, All of them were actually thinking why did they call Jayson's name ??

Jayson came to stage, there was this game going, there would be a bowl with names of everyone in their class and one whose name comes, should perform something in stage ,

Upon reaching stage Jayson understood it and he was not able to think anything other than Maya,

He was thinking of her dressing today, She was wearing a lehenga, Cream coloured one with peach color blouse, her ears had a big Jhumka , and there were these bangles making lot of melody , and he thought of her eyes, Her eyes was looking a bit more large today, and those eyelashes were fluttering, each time she spoke , 

Jayson got the mic , with utmost no idea of what he was doing , He said those words , " I am dedicating this to my sweet heart " and he sang " Ankhen teri kitani haseen key inka ashiq mey bangaya hun mujko basale inmey tu " ....

There was so much cheer on the crowd, on his way to backstage everyone was asking who is this sweet heart , He just smiled and came back to Maya , 

And Maya said, " That was really good !! "

Jayson said, " You know what, i don't sing well ",

" No way , you sang really well ", This was Maya ,

"Joel said you wanted to talk to me ", she added ,

"Yeah " replied Jayson, giving a thanking look at Joel,

 Maya asked , " Can we meet after my program, next is my program ",

Jayson nodded and said, " Yeah after your program i will wait , right corner , first row "

Joel and Jayson hurriedly came to their seats, Jayson wanted to see Maya dance,

" O Re Piya " the song started playing after a flute music ,

Then Aditi and Maya started dancing,

Jayson couldn't take his eyes from Maya.

He was mesmerized seeing her performance, he sat frozen , Joel shook and said Maya is here already .

Jayson stood up from his seat, held Maya's hand and started walking towards the school playground.

There was silence between them as they were standing in the corner of the ground, she gave him a what ?? look,

He slowly went near and asked her can you jump over the wall , 

She took a look at that wall after all it wasn't that big, She said " Yeah Okay " , little confused,

Jayson chuckled and went inside a room nearby and bought a wooden bench,

He said now climb up the stairs and jump over the wall,

She didn't ask him anything she just did as said on the other side Aditi and Joel was waiting for them,

"Surprise", he shouted,

Aditi shooed him, 

Maya asked " What next ??"

Jayson held Maya's hand and took her to his bike and asked her to sit ,

Jayson started his Apache bike and Maya sat behind him, Joel and Aditi followed them in another bike,

It was already 10.15 pm , Where is he taking me Maya thought, But she was happy since she was sitting behind Jayson , Jayson's colognes were already spreading her nostrils,

Bike ride could have taken 20 mins,

Then he bought her to a place, It was so silent , they crossed little shops which were closed and finally he stopped near a place it had this huge gate, Jayson opened that gate and asked them to follow, then again they walked few minutes and they were near a pond ,

Now Maya took a look at the place, it was more like a backwood and Park like arena, it had many trees, few stone benches and there were few swings, there was this pond, it had some flowers, lotus or blue lily, since it was already dark the flowers closed them self, then she saw that big, huge round ball, it was moon, Now Maya immediately raised her head above and saw it was a full moon day.

Now Jayson made Hmmm Hmmm noise,

Maya said " This place is beautiful ! "

She looked around to see Aditi and Joel vanish, She decided to ignore.

Then she asked, " What did you wanted to talk about ??"

Jayson held her hands and said, " Do you see that moon, It never leaves the sky, even in its bad times, Even when it constantly fades, Though it vanishes, it tries too hard to come back to sky ", he gave a pause and added " That way i will never leave you and go in my life, anything may come ", Will you be my best friend Maya , Jayson asked.

Maya was truly delighted, There were already tears welling up her eyes, " Yes, I will" she said,

"But won't Joel bother for his status being given to me" , she chuckled and asked,

"You took so long to ask me for friendship", she added,

For this Jayson said , " I always wanted to ask you, but i didn't have guts i guess ".
