Turmoil between Soul and Soulmate

CHAPTER 3

 

 "Life Changes as Life goes on" ,

Same was with Maya too,

In these 3 months since she joined her school, she wasn't the same girl who was so scared to go to her new school,

She has become popular among the school kids because of her voice while singing daily prayer song,

She has become quiet familiar among her class because of kindness, she became close to teachers too...  

She even became friends with Joel, the boy who fought with her on first day after he apologizing to her .

Since Maya belonged to Biology group and Jayson belonged to Commerce group , they met only during language hour, though they didn't talk so much, they used to exchange friendly smile.

Maya liked Jayson for no reason !

One day after her School she went to her home to see it locked then she noticed that she forgot to bring duplicate key to open the door,

With no where to go she went to the park adjacent to her lane, it was first time she was going to that park though she has seen that beautiful park from her  terrace, whenever she goes to terrace to study.

 The moment she entered the park she fell in love with it, It had those beautiful shrubs with multi color flowers, well trimmed lawns and a lake with swans in the corner of the park while there was  fountain in middle of the park. 

The park was utmost empty when she entered it, leaving all the stone benches laid at regular intervals, she went to corner of the park where there was that beautiful lake.

She went and sat on the stone nearby the lake and started staring at it .

Without even knowing she started musing her old times in Tamilnadu these are the moments when she would miss her friends, her neighbours and most importantly her language, she loved tamil so much and she missed it when she had no one to talk in Tamil with her.

Suddenly there was a " THUD" behind her, she panicked and turned back, it was then she saw Jayson , all her fear from sudden noise vanished and smile occupied her face. 

"Day dreaming" Jayson asked,

There was a blush in Maya's face. 

He asked her, " What are you doing here?"

She didn't answer him, It was the first time she saw Jayson so close near her,

She was gawking at him,

His eyes were like painting with Slight tint of ocean color in it, His wheatish colored skin was complemented by the Black T-shirt he was wearing, His lips were so perfect, his lips turned into crescent whenever he smiled.

His well built body and his 6" feet tall physique made him look so manly that's what she thought.

Hey " whats up", asked Jayson, 

She felt so embarrassed and said that she has to go home.

He offered that he will walk her home, she noddingly accepted him.

And they started walking home, silence embraced them. Deep inside Maya was thinking about how good it could be to have a boyfriend like Jayson, She smiled herself at her thoughts. 

Suddenly she stood opposite to Jayson's home leaving him wonder why,  when Jayson gave her a questioning look she whispered, "Home",  

Jayson gave a energitic smile and asked " Are you Akash's Sister",

She said "yes" , smiling and started to walk towards her home.

Jayson cursed himself for not knowing her home till now and walked towards his home smiling!!
