Jake POV

I was just walking around the club and was trying to look for Colby when i looked over at him talking to a really cute girl.

"Woah" I said looking at her. "Wait" I said as she turned around. Is that? No it can't be. We make eye contact for a second but I look away.

"No that's not her" I said to myself. I went over to the bar to get a drink for myself and as I walked back from the bar I crossed path with her. We passed each other and made eye contact.

It was her.

Dylan POV
I woke up the next day around 9ish and Ashton was sleeping right next to me. He had just gotten home a few hours ago from practice so I decided not to wake him up.

I kissed his forehead and got up. I picked out a cute crop top with ripped high wasted skinny jeans. I was making breakfast when I heard the bedroom door open.

"Wow you look good where are you going?" He said rubbing his eyes. I laughed. "What are you doing up" I asked him. "I don't know I was laying there and reached for you and you weren't there so I got up" he said sitting down.

I smiled to myself. "So where are you going?" He asked. "Um Colby's picking me up" I said mixing around the eggs.

"Oh" he said taken off guard. "Is there a problem?" I asked him. "It's just you look like too good to go see a guy" he said in disapproval.

"Excuse me?" I said turning around. "Do you not trust me?" I asked him. "It's not that I don't trust you Dylan, it's that I don't trust him keeping his hands off what's mine" he said walking over and hugging me.

"I'll be fine" I said. I got a call. I let go of Ashton and reached for my phone. "Hello?" I said talking over to the phone looking at Ashton who was now putting the eggs on a plate.

"Hey I'm here" Colby said. "Oh ok I'll be right down" I said. "Ok great" he said hanging up. "Gotta go babe" I said grabbing my purse. "So I can eat you eggs?" He asked. "I made them for you" I said smiled.

He blushed and looked down. As I was walking to the door he said "are you sure you don't wanna like change?". "Goodbye Ashton" I said.
"Love you!" He yelled as I closed the door.

I walked down the stairs of my complex and I saw Colby's red car. I got in. "Still the same car I see" I said laughing. "You know it" he said smiling. We drove up to the house.

"God I've missed this place" I said sighing. Colby just laughed. I walked up to the door and stopped. "What's wrong?" Colby asked.

"Is-" I asked "no" Colby said calmly knowing what I was gonna say. "Only Devyn, Corey, and sam" he said. I nodded and opened the door. Everyone was in the kitchen.

"Colby?" Corey said. "Honey I'm home!" I yelled. I heard gasps. "Is that?" Sam said looking over. "DYLAN!" Devyn said running up to me. She jumped on me and wrapped her legs around my waist.

"Awe I've missed you two dev" I said hugging her. "What? Why? When? How?" Sam said walking over with Corey. "Did Jake-" Corey started but Colby hit him.

"No" I said letting Devyn down. "It's nice seeing you again" sam said. "You too!" I said hugging sam then Corey.

"Well let's all go to the living room to catch up" Colby said. We all sat down. "Well I'm dating Ashton Irwin we've been together for a year now" I said smiling.

"Wait Ashton Irwin as in the drummer of 5sos?" Devyn asked. I nodded. "Oh my gosh can I meet him? Can I get an autograph?" Devyn asked excited.

"Devyn" Corey said calming her down. "No she's fine. Sure" I said laughing. "Well me & kat are still together she bleached her hair" sam said. "Really? Let me see!" I said excited.

He showed me a picture. "Omg she looks so good!" I said. "Love her nose ring too" I said. "Obviously you & Corey are still together" I said. They smiled at each other.

"Colby?" I asked. "mm" he said. "Anyone special?" I asked. "Nope." He said. "What about you anything else we don't know about you?" Sam asked.

"Well I've recently got into music, turns out I can sing?" I said laughing. "Really?" Devyn asked. "Yeah I sing around town- small venues" I said.

We talked a little longer when someone opened the door. "Hey Colby I got the thing you asked me to get" a too familiar voice said. He looked up & our eyes met. "Dylan" he said.

"hey...Jake" I said. "I've been here long enough I should get going Ashton is probably worried" I said grabbing my purse.

"Ok well bye Dylan" Devyn said hugging me. "Ok let me just grab my keys I'll meet you out there" Colby said. I nodded & walked past Jake.

I walked outside & waited for a second when I heard the door open. I thought it was Colby so I said "Ready?". "Wait can we talk?" I heard Jake say. I looked up "yeah" I said.

"You look great" he said looking at me. "Thanks" I said looking down at my outfit. "Not so bad yourself - I see your hair is pink again" I said looking at his head.

We laughed. "So how have you been?" He asked. "good , I have a good boyfriend & I sing" I said quickly. "boyfriend?" He asked. I nodded.

"He's- he's lucky, your a good catch" Jake said smiling. I couldn't help but feel bad- no no. I don't feel bad. No Dylan don't feel bad he broke you heart in two.

I blushed and looked down. "thanks" I said. "you should let me hear you sing sometime" he said. "Uh yeah ik I think I have a show next Saturday at the square" I said.

"Great- wouldn't miss it for the world" he said smiling & walking inside. When the door closed & I let go of the breath I didn't know I was holding. The door opened again.

A part of me hoping it was going to be jake. no Dylan what are you doing you have Ashton he loves you! "Ready?" Colby asked. I nodded and we drove to my apartment.

I walked in & Ashton was with luke. "Hey babe how was your day?" He said standing up kissed my head. "Long, I'm going to take a shower" I said walking into the bathroom.

I got out and got dressed & laid in bed. "Hey are you ok?" Ashton said walking in our room. "Define ok" I said. "Go hang out with luke I'm ok" I said putting my foot to his chest to stop him from walking to me.

"I saw that u were upset so I told him to leave" he said moving my foot and laying beside me. "You didn't have to do that" I said. "So what's up?" He asked.

"it's seriously nothing I'm just overthinking things" I said. "Ok I won't push you to tell me anything" he said playing with my hair. That's when I got on top of him and kissed him.

"What was that for?" He asked. "for being the best boyfriend I love you" I said hugging him. "Do you want me to sing to you will that make you feel better?" He asked.

"Yes" I said. We sang to each other when the other was upset it was just something we did. "Remember when I left a couple nights ago?" He asked. "Yes" I said. "Well we wrote this song" he said grabbing his guitar.
