A difficult decision

Giddeon's pov:

I was holding something in my arms, I slowly opened my eyes and saw Bella cuddling me in her sleep. I blushed furiously from the close contact with my cru- I mean friend. I saw her starting to stir, she slowly opened her beaut- uh...brown eyes. They're so mesmerizing, I couldn't help but stare.

Bella's pov

I woke up in somebody's arms, my head on their chest. My heart started beating so fast, I slowly looked up and saw..."Giddeon?"

My blush deepened, I was in the arms of my cru- I mean friend. He didn't say anything, he was just staring...He suddenly started leaning forward, wait, is he actually going to...My thoughts were interrupted by someone opening a door.

"Oh, so you guys are a couple huh?" A guy at the door said.

"It's not what it looks like..." Giddeon said, trying to explain.

"We're just friends..." I said.

"Suuuuuuurrrrrre," He said, "Whatever you say."

"A...Anyway, who are you?" I asked, "Where are we?"

"This is a refuge for others, we saved you guys when you were ambushed by the soldiers and the name's Jake, I'm a light other." Jake said, "Soooooo, are you single?"

"Uhhhhh...y...yes...Why do you ask?" I asked Jake, oblivious of why he wanted to know.

"Well...I'm available if you want to go out." He said.

"Wh...What?" I asked, shocked about what he said. I saw Giddeon death glaring him.

"Kidding, kidding." He said, making me and Giddeon sighed in relief. "Come on, I'll show you around!" Jake said.

Giddeon's pov:

"Wooooooow," Bella said. We were on a balcony and there were wooden bridges leading to other tree houses. She had the most adorable expression on her face, I honestly just loved seeing her adorable expressions, W...Wait...Do I actually love her? No...No...We're just friends.

"Are you ok?" Bella asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said, trying to play cool. Suddenly the tree houses were being swarmed by government soldiers.

"They're here!" Jake exclaimed, dragging us back into the treehouse, "Down here, hurry!" He exclaimed while holding open a trap door. Bella hesitated, but I grabbed her wrist and dragged her down into the trap door with me.

Bella's pov:

Giddeon dragged me down through the trapdoor and Jake followed us down. When we were at the bottom of the ladder there was a door.

"I'll go first," Jake said. Neither I or Giddeon disagreed so Jake opened the door. "Poppy!" He yelled running towards a little girl surrounded by soldiers.

"Jake wait!" I yelled concerned for his safety.

I suddenly heard Giddeon yell "Bella get out of here!"

I looked behind to see Giddeon trying to fight off some soldiers, I then looked in front of me to see that Jake was also trying to fight off some soldiers while protecting the little girl. They were both struggling to hold off the soldiers, what should I do?

Help Giddeon?

Help Jake?

Or run away?
