Another Day At School

It's just another day at school, Bella thought as she got out of bed (6:55) and started getting dressed. Once Bella was done (7:15) she headed down to breakfast but when she got there she was surprised that there was a queue of about 20 people waiting for breakfast. That's strange, Bella thought, it's 7:20 and breakfast opens at 7:15.

Bella saw her friend Aqua and walked towards her "what's going on?" Bella asked Aqua.

Aqua replied saying, "I don't know, I'll ask Aura." then she called out to her twin sister Aura and asked Aura what was going on.

"The bread is missing," Aura replied calmly.

"Missing?!" exclaimed Aqua.

This must be devastating news for Aqua, Bella thought, the only thing she eats for breakfast is bread. Before she could reassure Aqua that the bread would be found Bella saw one of the kitchen staff members come into the hallway.

"It's alright girls the bread was just misplaced," said the kitchen staff member, "you can come in now."

Then all the girls pushed through the door into the dining room, Bella was carried with the crowd, not able to control where she was going. Once through the door Bella quickly got a tray, bowl and spoon, hoping not to get pushed around again. She got some cereal and was about to go when Bella heard the smash of a plate. She looked towards where the sound had come from and saw Olivia about a metre away from Bella who was a muscular girl in yr 8.

Olivia looked at Bella accusingly and shouted, "Hey watch where you're going!"

"I didn't even touch you," Bella replied calmly.

"You ruined my breakfast!" Olivia exclaimed ignoring what she said.

She felt like she had enough, "Well you ruined mine too!" Bella said and stomped off. She got some milk then sat down next to Aqua and she looked over at Bella surprised. "What is it?" Bella asked curiously.

"I've never seen you so angry before," she replied.

"Really?" Bella asked surprised.

"Yeah," replied Aqua.

"Well, as you said I don't usually get mad but when I do get mad I just, let it all out, you know?" Bella asked.

"Yeah I get what you're saying," replied Aqua.

After that they ate in silence, Aqua said that she had to go and left. Bella was the only person at the table until around thirty seconds after Aqua left, Aura came and sat down next to her. Bella had a similar conversation with Aura as she had with Aqua then Aura had to leave. Funny how they both think alike but have completely different personalities, Bella thought. A while after Aura left Bella finished her breakfast and packed away the dishes (7:30).

She grabbed her laundry bag and headed down towards the laundry. Once Bella got to the laundry she put her clothes in the wash and got her clean clothes out of her cubbyhole. Bella looked into Zera's cubbyhole and saw that Zera's clothes were still there. Zera's been her best friend since last year and she is the first friend she ever had at this school. Bella came to this school midway through last year and it was a term and a half until Zera and Bella became friends.

Bella first met Zera at breakfast and she was asked to show Bella where the laundry was. She and Zera always met at the laundry in the mornings from then on. Bella glanced at her watch and saw that the time was 7:35. 'Where is she?' Bella thought. She waited for her for another 10 minutes, Bella was about to give up when Zera showed up.

"There you are," Bella said to her. "What kept you?"

"I was having a chat with the matron," replied Zera chucking her dirty laundry in the washing baskets.

"You talk to her a lot don't you?" Bella asked her.

"Well you do too," Zera retorted.

"True, true," She replied waiting for Zera to chuck away her dirty washing.

Zera finished with the dirty washing and went to her cubbyhole, chucking her clean washing into her laundry bag then checked the table where there was washing with unread numbers and then she and Zera left.

Bella and Zera stayed silent for a while until Zera suddenly said "race you" and ran off. Bella ran after her to the boarding house and Zera was there waiting for her. "What took you so long?" she said teasing Bella.

"Very funny," Bella replied. "It was only a couple of seconds."

"I know," Zera said. "I'm just being cheeky."

"I know," Bella replied. "You always are."

Then she and Zera entered the boarding house and said their farewells to each other and headed towards their rooms. Bella packed away her clean washing and got her laptop out and started watching a movie (7:50). At 8:10 Bella packed her bag and left for school just as she was exiting her room she ran into Cate who greeted Bella in an annoying and unfriendly tone. Bella just smiled greeted her back and walked off. Once she was at a "safe distance" from Cate, Bella mumbled, "why does she have to be so mean?"

When Bella got to her locker (8:17) she checked the timetable, got her books then headed off to first period (8:19). Once the first period was over she headed to the second period (9:20). Once the second period was over Bella headed to homeroom (10:20), after homeroom (10:35) she went to get morning tea. On her way, she met up with her friend Lila.

"Lila," said Bella.

"Bella," said Lila, they saw a group of girls come past with banana bread.

"Banana bread my favourite," said Bella.

"I know, you say that every time we get banana bread," said Lila

"I know," replied Bella.

Once they got a piece of banana bread each they headed off to the library. At the library (10:40) they sat down and played a game of advanced connect four. They had 2 rounds, Bella won the first and Lila the second. After that, they headed to the chapel (10:50) and sat in the left middle row. After chapel, they separated and went to their next class (11:20). Once that class was done (12:20) Bella headed to lunch and sat down with the other yr 10's. Once Bella had finished lunch (12:35) she went to the library and wrote a new chapter in one of her stories on Wattpad. When lunch ended she got her gear and headed to the fourth period (1:15). Once the fourth period ended Bella went to the fifth period (2:20). Once it was the end of school (3:15) Bella went back to the boarding house and packed all of her stuff away.

She relaxed from 3:15-5:10 then went to the dining room for dinner. Once she finished dinner (5:35) she went back to the boarding house and did some writing on Wattpad until 6:20, then she got her prep and headed down to the library for prep. At prep, she was doing a Science task and chatting with some of the girls in yr 9 including her friend Aura. When she finished her task she did a little bit of writing on Wattpad until it was time to go. Once she got back to the boarding house (8:00) she wrote a little bit more on Wattpad until 8:25. At 8:25 she got dressed into her pj's (8:35) then had a shower until 8:50. At 8:50 she got all of her electronic devices then handed them in for the night. On the way she talked with some people including her friends then went to her room. Once she got to her room she went into bed and read from 9:00-9:30 then she went to sleep.
