Is he the one?

Let's just say hey

Connor called me up the next day and asked if we can hang out together, he asked where we should hang out, I said the local park so it's not awkward and start to pretend about who we are and what we would say, so we are normal around each other.

I tried to start the conversation, and try to make the first move since it looks like this was going nowhere, and he wasn't going to make the first move.

"Um, let's just say hey" Bethany said

"Yeah, hey" Connor said

"Hey" I said

"I'm going to go on a run, wanna come" he said

At, this point, I was willing to do anything to find out more about him, by myself. So I said yes.

"Sure, why not. It will give me an opportunity to see your athletic side" I said

"My athletic side? It's not just running, you know, I play basketball as well. So you can call me the jock of the school. I'm like your present day "Troy Bolton" if you want." said Connor

"Troy Bolton? Hardly" I said

We went on our run, and in between running, we had little conversations and Connor taught me some tricks and tips when playing basketball. Maybe he is a bit like Troy, except that Connor runs.

"You've been quiet, you all right" Connor asked.

"Yeah. I'm just  thinking about somethings" I replied

"Like what?" he replied

"Like, why is life so confusing? Why do I doubt my liked talents? Things like that. Things that confuse me in life" I said

Connor didn't say anything or reply or do anything

"Sorry, I'm just really confusing, and I am just a big worrier. Sorry again" I said

"Don't worry about that. Um, you said that you doubt your talents? What talents? Connor asked.

"I am hoping you are not being sarcastic, when you mean "what talents?" Uh, I am interested in photography, and maybe want to take it up as a career. And I sing. Believe it or not, but everything I said is true" I said

"It wouldn't cross my mind that you were into those things"Connor said

"Same here" I said

"This has been nice, we should do this again, properly" Connor said

"What do you mean properly" I said

"I mean like a date" Connor said

After Connor said that, Connor leaned in and kissed me on the cheek.

Wow. It felt amazing. I can't actually describe how I feel right now.

"Bye" He said in a soft voice

I was going to say bye as well, but I was just so speechless that I couldn't say anything. He walked away, but obviously I think that he understood that I was speechless, so that I didn't say anything.
