Don't let her get to your head

I know Madison and the girls told me to forget about Tiffany, and don't let her get to my head, but she is the most popular girl in school, in my class, so what she wants, she gets it. It's obvious that she doesn't like me, and doesn't like the fact that I went out with Connor. I feel like she has some devious plan, to split me and Connor apart and wants to have him for herself. But I just have to forget about her, which isn't going to be easy.

In class, the next day, I got a note which says "Stay away from him forever. You have been warned". This is obviously from Tiffany. Madison is right, she is pathetic.

At the end of the class, I stayed outside, waiting for Tiffany to get out to set things straight.

"Look Tiffany, I don't know what you're trying to do, trying to destroy my life and my relationship with Connor, but this needs to stop right now" I shouted

"OOH" Everyone said

"What's going on?" Connor said

"She's trying to destroy my life. Isn't that right Amber?" Tiffany said

"Yeah. She was saying mean words and everything. She even tried to threaten her, but she obviously didn't do it because you came" Amber said

"Wow. Are you being serious. I didn't try to threaten her. I even have a note which proves t. She's lying. Not me. Who are you going to believe, someone you have true feelings for, or a phony" I said, raising my voice even higher.

"Um, is it alright if I see the note" Connor said

"Yeah, sure" I said

I went through my blazer and all my pockets, trying to find it, because I assume that it would be somewhere, but it wasn't there.

"Um, I can't find it" I muttered under my breath

"Huh, what was that. I can't what?" Tiffany said

"I said, I can't find it." I replied

"I can't believe you lied to me, I thought you were different, but you're obviously a phoney" Connor

"I can't believe you're taking sides with her. She is lying." I said

"But do you have any proof. No. End of discussion" Tiffany said

At the end of the banter, Miss Lincon came out, and everyone ran back to our next class

"Miss Scott, would you and your friends care to tell me why you aren't in your next class" she said

"Um, I had an argument with Tiffany, about something which is kind of sensitive to me" I said honestly.

"Bethany, you're one of my favourite students. It's not like you to throw banter outside a classroom like this. Would you like to talk about it" Miss Lincon said

I am not the sort of person to want help from others, and have people make me feel bad about others, but I accepted the offer so that I can prove Tiffany wrong with back up.

"Okay" I said

I got to class with a 15 minute detention for being late as well as my friends, but at least they stayed with me, unlike the other cowards who ran off.

I walked towards my seat having everyone staring at me and giving me looks.

"Bethany, you are no longer in these classes anymore" Miss Smith said

"What! Why not?" I said

"Tiffany told me all about the banter you threw on her, and that you tried to threaten her, so you can no longer be in this classroom if you are going to continue this banter" Miss Smith said

"Are you being serious! When are you going to stop telling people that I tried to threaten you. You can take me away from this class, but you can't take me away from my friends" I said

"I'm sorry Bethany, but you have to go. The banter is starting to affect Tiffany. So I have to separate you away from her" Miss Smith said

"Starting to affect her? That is pathetic" I said

"Bethany. You have to go. You are holding up the class" Miss Smith said

I left the class since there was nothing else for me to say, because if say something about Tiffany lying, the more people would begin to think that I'm lying. She already has Connor, the rest of the class and now Miss Smith. And I've got my friends and Miss Lincon. I'm outnumbered.

"I feel so sorry for Bethany. I wish there was something we can do, but everyone thinks she's lying" Audrey said. 

"But there is something we can do" Madison said
