Yoongi took the bullet.

For me.

I should have died...

I scan the room, afraid.

Hoseok is closing his ears and crying. Seokjin is doing the same.

The henchmen are confused at why I didn't get shot.

It was because he took the bullet for me.

I run and stand in front of Yoongi.

He immediately collapses onto the floor, bleeding severely.

"YOONGI! NO!"

I crouch down to his aid. He's clutching his wound.

For the first time ever, I see him cry.
I kneel down to Yoongi's aid.

He gives me a weak smile.

"You've grown up, Y/N. Remember when you were so afraid of the basketball because you were hit with it? Look where you are now. Playing basketball like a boss."

He chuckles, but to me, this was no laughing matter.

"This isn't the right time, Yoongi." I cry as I hug him.

"Please stay."

He pats me on the back. "I'll be fine kid. Even if I'm not, take care, yeah?"

I shake my head in disapproval.

"Don't say that, Yoongi."

"Yoongi?"

I look at my hands and see blood on them.
Yoongi's blood.

I hear police and ambulance sirens.

Thank God.

The police take the thugs away, but the gunman smiles at me, almost like he's saying that he got back at me for something.

They take Yoongi away to the hospital. The hospital.

Moonbyul.

No.

I immediately grab my coat and run.

I keep running, unable to control my tears.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.

I see Moonbyul's contact on my phone.

Terrorised, I pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Y/N. We have bad news."

"W-what?"

"Moonbyul has passed away."

I drop the phone in shock of what I just heard.

Moonbyul...

Died.

Because I couldn't get there fast enough.

I wipe my tears and run.

Where am I going to?

The bridge.

Time skip. You've reached the bridge.

I look at the flowing river under the bridge, feeling the cold wind blow against my skin.

I step onto the ledge, my hair blowing with the wind.

Is this how it will all end?

I... can't take it any longer.
