I stare frozen at her. How is it possible that I didn't recognize her? I inspect her closely, noticing all the bite marks in her arms. Klaus obviously hasn't been careful this time. Of course, I didn't expect to find her the way I saw her for the last time but this is definitely not what I /did/ expect to find. I mean, how long has she been here? One, maybe two days? How can she look that bad.. I carefully sit down next to her and wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to me. ''Let go.. No..'' She struggles out of my grasp, pushing me away from her. Fighting me. ''Stay away from me.'' She hisses and glares angrily at me. ''Elena, please..'' I say, my voice breaking as I let go of her. She shakes her head, crawling backwards as she whispers. ''You did this to me..'' She points accusatory at me with her index finger, still crawling further away from me. "This is all your fault.'' She says as tears pool in her eyes. I step closer to her and she wraps her arms protectively around herself as tears start to flow steady down her face. ''Why did you do this to me?'' She asks, her voice trembling. ''I didn't do anything Elena, I swear.'' I say while I sit down on the floor, my head in my hands. I look up at her and she stares at me. Her face not giving anything of recognition away. At that point I make a promise to myself. No matter what happens to me. I will get her out of here.
