Klaus' point of view

I stand in front of the fireplace, staring into the flames. It had been a quiet day so far. Kol, Finn and Elijah had been gone all day and Rebekah had spend most of the time in her room. It was creepy. Suddenly I heard the front door open. I frown slightly to myself. Who could that be? I listened closely, recognizing the footsteps of the person in a few seconds. There is my daily entertainment. I chuckle softly to myself as the footsteps stop behind me. ‘’It’s a pleasure to see you again.’’ I say as I turn around. ‘’Damon..’’ I was surprised by seeing him to be honest. I knew he got bitten by my hybrids. And not just one time so I didn’t expect him to walk all by himself. I didn’t even expect him to be still alive. Anyway, he didn’t just come to me to show how miserable he looked. He came here for a reason, and I knew exactly what reason that was. ‘’I’m sure you didn’t just come here to step  by?’’ I say, arching my brow slightly. He rolls his eyes, dropping a black bag in front of him. I look down at it tilting my head surprised. ‘’The white oak stakes..’’ Damon nods once. ‘’How many?’’ ‘’All of them.’’ I nod. This was the perfect opportunity to get all the white oak stakes and destroy them. I walk over to the table and grab a knife. I place the blade on my  left wrist and quickly cut a vein open. I place the knife back on the table and walk towards Damon. I stand in front of him, holding out my right hand for the stakes. He bends down and grabs the bag from the floor, handing it to me. I push my  wrist against his lips. ‘’Drink.’’ I demand. He takes my wrist in his hands, sucking back the blood. I stand still for a while, then eventually free my arm out of his grip. ‘’That should be enough.’’ Damon watches me suspicious as if I’m up to something. He probably didn’t expect it to go that easy. ‘’What?’’ He doesn’t answer me but shakes his head a little. I turn around with the bag in my hand, heading back to the fireplace. I grab the first stake and throw it into the flames. I watch the stake. The flames slowly burning it. I smile softly, throwing the whole back into the flames. I hear some quiet footsteps behind me and eventually the front door slams shut again. He left.
