Why is she taller than me? Cindy just has to be taller.
Standing directly next to her makes me so awkwardly disturbed sometimes. Other times it's funny.
"So- what do you do when you're gone?" I ask her.
"Um...Just go on missions. Regular stuff like shopping for girl stuff." she quotes girl stuff. We laugh a bit, and I still try to forget she's what..4 inches? 4 inches taller than me. That shouldn't freak anybody out, unless you have an extreme crush on this person. Calli told me that when he and Cindy used to date, she was taller, and it freaked him out too.
That made me even more mad, because ,she dated a witch, and I- a mortal- just can't even live up to that. It's comparing a Wizard to a Muggle. Or Harry Potter Vampires to Twilight Vampires. You obviously know who's going to win.
"Hey- Earth to Oak." she waves her hand in front of my face. It's hard to look at a girl, and then look down and see goat hooves. Apparently only I can see them, but she will probably never tell me why.
"Oh um..."I snap out of my stupid trance and start talking about girls.
I'm sure I'll get taller.
