"Why doesn't Paris like you?" I blurted out to Calli. He frowned and sat down on the floor.
"He..he was...my friend once..something just happened." he groaned miserably.
"What happened?" I felt guilty about asking him, but I had to know.
Calli fell backwards and sighed. "If I tell you, will you not tell anyone?Don't say it out loud, just keep it in your head?" he asks.
"I promise. I swear on my li-" I was about to put my hand on my heart when he looked at me.
"Don't say that Oak. Don't say you swear on your life. Because if I hear you mumble it in your sleep, or even when you think no one's around, I will kill you. I promise that." he scowls.
I feel uneasy, but i cross my heart anyway.
"Ok. So...when I used to go to the School of Magic, Paris used to be a human, like I was. We both went to the same classes and stuff, and we were the best of friends. But the thing was...there was always this kid with.."he lowers his voice. "White hair, and red eyes. Named Isaac." his voice sounds shakey.
I gasp a little and nod.
"And he was extremely jealous of me. Of my powers, I had two Via Spirits, and the fact that Paris liked me so much. So for a month Paris didn't show up to school. And everyone forgot him, though he used to be popular." he sounds like he's about to cry.
"Then, one time when I was sleeping, I heard someone tap on the window, and I looked out to see...this pale faced, dead eyed version of the boy I used to call my Friend." he sobs.
"And then..he...had the red sun on his cheek, which is the sign of all 2-10 tails. And he...destroyed the school...and killed everyone but five people. Souls were freaking out, and running around the ground. But the five people were only concerned with hunting down and killing the person who did it.
I told them it was Isaac...I mean...I thought it was. They agreed to kill the ten tails, and that's where The Five came from." he starting shaking violently.
"And..when it was time for me to be judged...guess who was there? Ding-ding...the guy who murdered me in the first place. He didn't say anything good to add to my final verdict, and instead trashed me so hard, I went from the Fields of Asphodel,to The Fields of Punishment." he murmured.
"Like I said, tell anyone, or even mention it...and I kill you? Is that-"
that's all I heard before I ran off.
