We were all called by our ancestors to some stupid meeting.
"We are all here to talk about...something or the other.." Rusty's ancestor waved his hand around.
I heard from Rusty he had a huge drinking problem, and never got over it.
"Um...We're here to talk about the rising of Future."Acanthus brushed his hair aside. People started booing and hissing, and I looked over to Cindy. I was catching up to her, but she still beat me by at least 2 inches."Future is this guy our patrons fought."she said. I didn't' bother asking what the hell a patron was, so I simply nodded. London was given me the evil eye all through out the meeting, and I couldn't even stare him down.
"We need a child of...well, we all know." he says waving his hand. He suddenly points at me.
"You child...you will find out your destiny." he smiles. Acanthus growls, but then he returns his normal face. Everyone cheers, but I still feel uneasy.
After the meeting breaks up, I stay behind. I start thinking about what my prophecy could be, when I see that Acanthus is sitting next to me.
"Are you scared?" he asks. I shake my head, and then realize I have to answer back.
"Kinda." I respond. "I was scared too. When Ace went on his mission after he got his prophecy. It's in my maternal instincts." he shakes his head. "Maternal only works for females."I correct.
"Exactly." he waves his hand around. "What?"I stammer.
"If a girl could hide being a girl all her life, to escape something she did, don't you think one would?" ...
Wait a minute.
Then Ancathus walks off.
