Maya's pov

We've been hunting for werewolves all summer and I'm soooo bored of it. We been everywhere looking for a specific pack that nik wants. Stefan has left countless bodies scattered I've only killed people who was nescary I explained to klaus I wasn't going to kill for him he can do his own dirty work. Me and Stefan are still close rippah or not. Nik.... We're adapting to being something. Me and nik we're friends... Sort of now he still dies flier with me a lot but I ignore it.

We are in tenesse and we are about to meet these two girl who will hopefully lead us to a werewolf called Ray.

" your never going to fool them with your fake accent" I told him

" you really have such little faith in me don't you love" he smirked

" yeah I do... I bet you won't be able to convince those innocents little girls that your some poor man whos been wondering the streets" I told him and he just smirked

" fine if they do believe it you have to sleep in my bed with me" he said and I sighed of frustration

" fine if I win you have to buy me many many shots because if I hear the word hybrid again I'm going to scream" I told him

" deal" he smirked.

Nik sped right in front of the girl as did I and she looked scared as hell.

" I am so sorry I didn't mean to scare you" nik said in his fake accent

" can I help you" she asked both of us

" yes our car broke down a couple of miles me and my wife here have been waking for what it seems like ages yours is the first house we've seen so I was just hoping I could use your phone" he asked

" don't you have a cell phone" she asked nik

" yeah I do but the battery died" I said holding out my phone

" look I promise I'm not a serial killer I just want to use your phone" he said.

Of course he's not a serial killer.

"sure" she said turning into her house.

Damn it! I lost my bet. I turned my head and nik was smiling and I just rolled my eyes.

" so we can come in" he asks

" no I'll get the phone and I'll bring it out to you" she told nik and all emotion went off his face and his voice was deep and dangerous.

" I thought you country phoke were supposed to be more trusting" he said

" I'm from florida" she told us

" well that explains it" he said and quickly got his hand around he neck strangling her.

" now show me a little southern hospitality... Sweat pea" he smirked

" nik let her breathe" I nudged him

" what's going on" the girl asked

" please don't be alarmed I was told Ray supper lives here" nik told them

" he's almost never hear on the road mostly" the dark skinned girl told us

" but I expect he makes it home once a month" he smirked " that's what I thought"

" where is he?" I asked and they were silent. " look if I were you I would tell because if you don't it will be painful."

She started running but she want going to get far because Stefan was at the door.

" I love it when they run" he smirked

" he's in thali" she spat out " he's in a bar called Southern Comfort up high way 41"

" thank you my love. Now kill this one quickly and that one slowly maya and I will be in the car" he said.

" no you can't kill them" I looked at Stefan who was just looking at his prey

" actually he can and he will" we went out walking to the car and he stops

" I can hear your silent judginess... They had to die they could call Ray" he told me

" you could of just compelled them" I told him

" what fun would that be for rippah" he smirked and I decided just to give up on the argument I needed someone.
