Maya's pov

Something is off about alaric I can feel it but it's probably just me being paranoid throughout over the years. I look in our attic for boxes and there were some random clothing all there. I can't believe I have to go to this stupid dance and matt will be there which will make this so awkward. Stefan came into the room.

" where did you get all this crap from?" I asked pulling out random clothes out of boxes.

" they were what victims were wearing everytime Damon killed a woman." Stefan told me

" he had a type" I told him and he smiled. I finally found this 60s backless dress it was beautiful.

" this one will do" I smiled and I went into the bathroom and tried it on and came out with it on and some high heels. I went downstairs to Damon and ric

" so is this okay" I slowly sinned around.

" yes it's very nice on you then if done on that woman" Damon said

" you have no control over yourself." I told him

" says the one who married klaus" he said and I nudged him a little bit and I saw alaric smile.

" so excited to reunite with your love" Damon asked

" yeah thrilled" I said sarcastically

" personally I fell sorry for the guy for putting up with your bad attitude" Damon said

" screw you" I told him

" this sketchbook looks ancient" ric said

" yeah it's something I've had for over a century." I told him " nik gave me it as a birthday gift"

" I thought you hate your birthday" Damon told me.

" I do" I told him and I saw alaric trying to open my sketch book I sped to it and got it.

" easy ric I tried to look inside her sketchbook a couple of weeks ago and I provably still have the scar from it" Damon joked and I gave him a glare.

" let's just get this dance over with" I told them and we went to the high school

We were in this stupid dance alaric went off to somewhere. Mingle in I guess. I was with Stefan, Damon and elena slowly entering the dance when dana went up on stage.

" hey guys, I wanted to thank you so much for being here tonight" she said and the whole room started clapping so I decided I might as well.

" this next song is for maya from klaus " she said and my heart stopped when she said that name. The song started playing and I knew that song all so well it was our wedding song.

I just have to remember klaus does not care about me not one little bit. When the sing ended I was so glad.

" are you okay" elena asked

" yeah I'm fine," I lied

" that was a lame cheap shot he's just trying to bait us" Damon said

" I know every one here" elena told us

" maybe he's not here he's just wants us to think that's he here" Stefan told us

" it's a party people blend let him come to us" Damon said

" good idea" bonnie said grabbing Jeremy's hand.

" have fun" I whispered to him

" there's ric I'll be back " Damon said

" I'll go with Damon wouldn't want to get in the way of your epic love... Dance" I smiled at Stefan and elena and they started to dance

" this guys clearly a little twisted" tic said

" I could of told you that" I smiled

" maya you got to tell is something you were married to the guy and technically you still are and you can't tell me anything about him" Damon said

" he'll let someone else do his dirty work he wouldn't dare get his hand filthy that's what the advantages of wanting more of him. They'll do whatever he wants" I told him

" do you think he's here" he asked me

" yeah I do" I told him and then I started to get a pain in my head. " aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh"

" maya... Maya what's wrong" ric asked worried

" I don't know I hear voices" I whispered.

" what are they saying" Damon says

" I don't know there's too many voices to understand what they are saying" I told him. Then it stopped. " now the voices are gone"

" Urgh tell me if anything out of whack" he told ric

I spotted matt and I needed to go talk to him.
