Maya's pov

" hello love" I heard hsi british accent and it felt like my heart has stopped.

" these phone calls are annoying especially after I've had a painful day" I told him

" what happened" Nik asked in a serious tone

" I got my ass kicked by ghosts who are 7 times my age and all wanted to tear you apart" I told him

" I don't understand. Ghost?" he asked in confusion

" it's a long story. Bonnie created like a door on the other side so that anybody with unfinished business could come through and all of their unfinished business was wanting to hurt you so I guess they thought I was there way " I told him

" there not wrong " his voice was soft" I wish I could of been there today "

" so do I " I said softly the hung up and I ended up falling asleep I needed to get him out of my head.

I woke up the next morning and I didn't feel like going school at all. I need to sort everything out with Stefan.

" maya, are you coming your going to be late" rebekah told me

" I'm not going I need to sort this thing out with Stefan" I told her and she nodded " try not to cause havoc"

" no promises" she smiled and went to school then I caught up with Damon walking to the cell.

" your going to free him aren't you." I asked him and he had a guilty face which I'm taking it as a yes.

" it causes you agony to watch him in pain" I said and then u thought about how pissed elena would be and how Stefan could go on a rampage again but he is my brother " fine let's go then"

Damon opened the door and Stefan looked up at us.

" you look disgusting" I told him truthfully and he glared at me

" if you guys are planning to keep me here for a decade I think we can skip the visits" Stefan told us

" you know I'm not a fan of this whole lexu recovery plan but elena thinks this place is going to weaken you out and make you feel again" Damon told him

" because elena plans always work out so well" Stefan smiled " why are you here?"

" I'm checking in with my brother... How ya been stef" he said and I couldn't tell weather he was being sarcastic or not

" do you know just because klaus compelled me to protect elena it duesnt mean ages safe from rebekah" Stefan said

" liar liar pants on fire brother if you knew elena was in trouble you would be working a lot harder to get out of here" Damon said

" you got me" Stefan smiled " can you please go now?"

" you really have given up" I muttered

" actually this is my happy face" Stefan try to smile but I just rip the restraints and chains off of him and Damon helps.

" what do you think you doing" Stefan asks

" screw this lexi plan I think all of us need a drink" I told him

We were at a bar somewhere in town and I had never been in this bar. It was where low life's go and I was way too over dressed for it even in casual clotues.

" what are we looking to drink" Damon asked

" something warmer and blonder" he said painting to the blonde barmaid.

" hey" Damon said to the barmaid then compelled " can we have 2 shots of whiskey and my brother would like a shot of you"

The blonde quickly gave out her wrist to Stefan abs Stefan smiled then but into it and I downed my whiskey.

This was going to be a long day...

I was leaning against the wall as Stefan was droning from the bar maid and I was bored and I looked over at Damon dancing on the tables.

I notice a girl looking at him strange.

" it's OK nothing to see here" I compelled her and she went away.

" OK lighten up ste... She's giving us her employee discount" Damon said wrapping a scarf round her neck
" you can go now"

We went back to the counter when the bartender gave us a couple more shots

" on you two time to fess up why the jail break" Stefan asked

" I thought you could use a hug Stefan." I teased whike drinking a shot

" maybe I just wanted to remind you what freedom was like before klaus took it from you" Damon suggested yo him

" as long as klaus is alive I'll do what he says" Stefan told us. I never really spoke when they spoke about niks death I can't even imagine what that would be like. I don't know how I would feel.

" he can't be killed" Stefan muttered

" maybe I can help with that" I stiffened at the sound of his voice one that I knew so well. I hated and feared that voice just like nik.

" the salvatore brothers I assume" he looked at then and the nodded and then he looked at me and smiled " good to see you again maya"

" mikael" I whispered

" you know each other" Damon asked

" he destroyed half of my immortal life by killing thousands of my friends" I hissed

" are you still upset about that" he asked in a childish tone and I was about to scream and Damon knew I was

" hey maya calm down" Damon patted me on the shoulder

" who let you out" I asked him

" Katherine" he told me

" I can't be here right now I'll see you back at the house" I told him and sped back to the house where elena and rebekah were there and rebekah was strangling elena.

" rebekah" I sled in between them and now that I was more close I could see she had been crying.

" did you know? Did you know Nik killed our mother? Is it even true?" she asked me but I didn't know what to say " Tell ME!"

" yeah... It is true I'm sorry rebekah I wanted to tell you so many times but I promised Nik I wouldn't" I told her

" how long have you known" she sobbed

" since 1896" I told her and she collapsed to the floor crying she was having a breakdown and I huge sher on the floor and she hung on to me tight while crying and elena just walked off. She just made rebekah cry and she walks off!

" I really am sorry rebekah" I whispered. I got her up to her room and I stayed with er until she fell asleep.
