"Ok i will kiss anne"

For a few days Anne was on bed rest and so she didn't fall behind Diana dropped of her books.
When it was finally time for Anne to go back to school, Gilbert insisted on walking with her and Diana. Anne refused the offer saying no they were fine on the own, but Marila told Gilbert that this was an excellent idea.

"Marila please, please, please do not make us walk with Gilbert!, it's the only quality time me and Diana get together and I don't want him ruining it!" Anne pleaded
"Fiddle sticks, Gilbert will be walking with you and that's the last of it!, I think it was very polite of him to offer to walk with you ladies!" Marila scolded
"But...but"said Anne
"No buts I have made my decision there will be no more talk of it" Marila barked
Anne crossed her arms and stuck her chin up she marched of to grab her satchel and boots, she laced up her boots, said a grumpy Goodbye to Marila and stormed out the door to find no other than Gilbert Blythe standing waiting for her.
"Morning Anne girl" he chirped
"Morning Blythe" Anne grunted
"So where are we meeting Diana?l" he replied
"At the white way of delight, and one more question why do you persist on calling me that insipid nick name Anne girl it's the most foul thing I've ever heard it's literally stating that my name is Anne and I'm girl what kind of a nick name is that" Said a agitated Anne
"Well I thought it was sweet, Anne girl". He said in a mocking tone
Anne shook her head. They kept walking for a while until they met up with Diana

"So Gilbert how are you?" Diana giggled
Anne shot her a dirty look (or as dirty a look as she could manage to give her bosom friend)
"I'm good thankyou Diana and what about yourself"
"Good good..." she held back a giggle
"Shh I'm listening to the birds" Anne murmured
"Okay okay Anne girl" Gilbert muttered under his breath
Anne heard him and decided to ignore it.
Once they reached the school gates Gilbert ran over to talk to moody and Charlie and that left Diana and Anne.
"So Anne I liked that nickname Gilbert called you... Anne girl was it?"said Diana
"No you must have heard incorrectly.."
"No I'm sure that's what he called you" Diana laughed
"Well even if he did why would it matter it's only a nick name!" Anne snapped
"Because I think he has a crush on you"she giggled
"What?, No he definitely dose not have a crush on me!" said Anne
Diana giggled and Anne rolled her eyes, of course Gilbert didn't have a crush on her, Diana was just being silly but then again cole had said the same that day at the train station.. Anne brushed the thought aside.
Once the children got settled in the classroom they had yet another dance lesson this time the had been learning the gay Gordon's which Anne had come to hate!. Once the lesson was finished it was lunch time, which Anne was very thankfully for!
Diana and Anne sat in there usual spot with the other girls.
"I'm so glad it's lunch time" josie declared
"Me too" Said Jane
"Me too" Said Tilly
"So is everyone excited for the dance?" Josie asked
"I guess so" shrugged Anne
"Well I'm very excited Billy's an excellent dancer" Josie boasted  
All the girls mumbled in reply
"I'm so disappointed I'm not with Gilbert but I guess this makes him think I'm popular so maybe he'll ask me next time" ruby said hopefully
"Yeah probably" Diana agreed (and then winked at Anne)
"So girls once we've eaten up our lunches,  I have a little surprise for you" Josie said while combing through her hair with her hands
"Oh do tell us what it is please please!" Jane pleaded
"No I shall not, that would ruin the surprise!" Josie smirked
The girls quickly ate there lunches and followed Josie outside where all the boys were seated.
"Today we're going to play a game of truth or dare, the rules are simple you have one chicken other wise you have to answer the truth or do the dare and I will start and whoever I ask will ask the next question!" Josie explained
"Moody truth or dare"Josie said
"Truth" moody replied
"Do you like Diana?" Josie asked
"Em..I think I do" he said awkwardly, Diana blushed.
Next moody dared ruby to call mrs Stacy mr Phillips which she declined using her one chicken. The game carried on until it reached Gilbert,
"Gilbert truth or dare" asked Charlie
"Dare" Gilbert chuckle
"I dare you to let's see... to kiss Anne."
Gilbert's took a deep breathe in and stared right at Anne 
"Ok I'll kiss Anne"
