"Hana! Time to wake up for school!" My adoptive father Jack Morrison calls. "Uhhhh...abeoji." I turn my face back into my pillow. Dad always wakes me up early to share breakfast with him and get to school early. "Hana! I made buchimgae (Korean pancake)!" Jack calls. I roll over in defeat and fall off the bed "Ow." I stand up and rub the back of my head "Coming dad!"
I grab my uniform and head into the bathroom. I do my usual skin care routine then put on my white button up shirt, and pink plaid skirt. I tie my matching pink tie, and put on my navy blue blazer. I then brush out my long brown hair and brush my teeth. "Alright, time to go".
I get to the kitchen and eat breakfast with my dad before I left. "Bye abeoji!" I pulled up my white socks and slipped into my shoes. My dad handed me my lunch and I put it in my bag. "Love you. Be careful!" My dad yells at me as I walk out the door. "Love you too!"
I close the door and start walking to school when I hear a voice behind me. I turn to see who it was "Dae-Hyun! Good morning" I speak to him in Korean since at home Jack is more fluent in English since he's from America. Good thing he taught me English.
"What time did you fall asleep last night, Hana? Did you stay up all night playing video games?" Dae-Hyun questioned smirking. "Of course! Who wouldn't want to play StarCraft?" I gave him a smirk back. "No one..." He had his hand on the back of his head and looked away. "Come on we're going to be late!" I grabbed his hand and ran off to school.
