In a Gamer's Life

Chapter 3

I was walking to school with my best friends, D.Mon, Casino, King, and Overlord. Yes, I always call them by their nicknames, and of course Dae-Hyun. "Morning Guys!" I greeted "Hey!" Overlord cheers and comes right by my side. "Morning." Casino greets, "Hey D.Va" King smiles, "Heh." D.Mon says completely distracted by her NintendoDS. "Morning Hana." Dae-Hyun chimes.
Dae-Hyun POV
    I don't like how close Overlord is with Hana. There's just something about it that ticks me off. The others don't though. D.Mon is like her sister, Casino is her "rival", and King is like her cheat code when it comes to a new game. Then there's Overlord. I look at him and Hana, they're laughing together. A burst of flame rises up my spine and throughly my veins. He is MY rival...
Back to D.Va POV
   As we walk down the street towards school while talking about last night's game. "You're so good at StarCraft D.Va!" Overlord smiles brightly next to me. "You are good, but not as great as me." Casino flaunts. "If I were you I'd start streaming my gameplay of StarCraft, you could get so much money and fame for it. Plus you could go to tournaments." King adds, adjusting his glasses.
   I think about gaming at huge tournaments and the wins I'd get. "Yeah! I should start streaming! Thanks so much for the idea, King!" I smile and hug King from behind.
I swear I saw a light dusting of blush on his face. "Oh well."
  That night, Is when I started streaming. I didn't do my homework because it was Friday night. A whole weekend to binge watch, play video games, and eat food.
    I grabbed my headphones and whispered "1...2...3..." I pressed the live stream button "Hey guys! It's D.Va! I'm here playing StarCraft and I'm super excited to see what's on the new update..." I played and played for hours on end, having the time of my life until I had to go to sleep "Bye guys, I hope you enjoyed my first live stream! D.Va signing off. Bye!" I make a heart with my hands and smile as the live stream ends. I look to see how many people watched and commented "3,478 views and 325 comments...not bad, not bad at all!" I say proudly.
   I put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth and brushed my long brown hair before going to bed. I was excited for the future streams I will have. I lied down on my comfy bed, and rested my tired head on the fluffy pillow. Little did I know that one day I'd be a legend.
