Ch 4

(⚠Caution there is a sliver of child abuse in this chapter. Nothing really important exept for the beginning so if you skip it just know that Amanda got punished for fighting.⚠)

Amanda's POV

I'm walking with the girls and the principal to his office. I hope it's not gonna be that bad but I don't know. Everyone is giving me death glares. Well everyone except for the girl I saved. She was giving me a greatful half-smile. She's limping along with the first girl which I now know as Eva. The girl I saved was Ivan and the second girl was Julia. The two other girls that did nothing were Rachael and Jessica.

The principal opens the door and guides us in. We all sit down and stare at him until he finally says something.

"Who started the fight first? And don't lie or you will get 2 times the punishment."

"Amanda star-" Eva started to say before I cut her off.

"I walked into the bathroom and saw those two *I point to Eva and Julia* kicking and punching Ivan. So I went in there and kicked Eva."

"Eva is this true?" The principal says coldly.

"Yes it is." She replys accepting defeat.

"Amanda you will get 1 week of suspension, Eva you and Julia will get 3 weeks, and Jessica and Rachel you will get 2 weeks.

" What. Why?" They both say in unison.

"Because you were behind Eva and Julia when this happend. So you get in trouble too."

They both looked like the definition of kill me now. They were all pissed. And I was too. He was gonna call our parents and that's just great.

~time skip to end of the day~

As I'm walking home from school I realise what will happen next. And I don't really think I can get out of it. My dad's a little abusive, but no one knows. Not even my mom does. But there's nothing I can do about it. Trust me I've tried and I gave up a long time ago.

So as I get to my home I see no one is home yet. That's perfect! But my dad's always home first so there's nothing to do except wait it out.

~1 hour later~

He is home and boy is he angry. I hear him yell my name from upstairs and I run down there quickly. I'm in really big trouble. It's not that he's ever done anything really bad but it still hurts.

"Amanda did you really get into a fight on your first day?"

"I was trying to protect someone. They were getting beaten up by the popular kids."

"You should have just left her be. She's not worth associating yourself with if it means getting in trouble!"

Yea my mom is fine with me having friends but my dad think they are worthless. We argue like this for a while until I snap. And this makes things 100 times worse.

"JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T HAVE ANY!" I screamed at him.

He just stands there

Frozen

Still

Then he takes his hand up to my throat and pins me against the wall and smacks me across the face. Threatening me if I ever do that again he will get the belt out.

But just as he says that the door opens and who is on the other side but........
