First things first (I'm a realist) I thought I'd mention authors notes.
Now we all like to read them sometimes but I thought I'd point out... they are author N-O-T-E-S not Biographies jfc
I like to read the notes, I don't mind maybe reading a little bit about their day but I swear, some people's authors notes are longer then their chapters.
I'm not trying to put limits on author notes but quite frankly we want to read the story.
Sometimes author notes do give us an insight on their lives and that they are humans (not that I thought they were robots).
Sometimes you're reading a really good fanfic and then you want to get onto the next chapter but STOP! BAM! you have to scroll past 50 pages of author notes before you can get onto the next part.
In a way, wanting to get on with the story is a compliment itself, meaning it's good (life ruining) and you want more!
I mean no one wants to know what your Grandma had for tea on April 6th 2009....
So no I'm not saying END THE AUTHOR'S NOTES ALL TOGETHER, I'm saying just keep the notes.....as notes.

Pet Hates of FanFictions
Cerita PendekHave you noticed that most FanFictions have reoccurring themes? That the same sentences appear all the time? Authors put their life stories in the A/N's? Now I'm not someone who complains a lot, but I just though I'd point them all out in one book...
