stephen's p.o.v.
(btw this is the next day bc i didn't feel like writing it all out in the last chapter, sorry lol)

"finally! it's here, the big day is here!" i shout out as i get out of bed. finally, the first day of my new job.

i don't know what to wear, i have some idea but i don't know what the exact dress requirments are.

"are you alright, mate?" ant asked me and he and dec burst into my bedroom. "we heard shoutin', we wasn't sure what was goin' on."

i smile at them. "sorry, just got a bit excited about today." they look at each other then back at me.

"it's the first day of my new job! come on, you guys didn't forget already did you?" i look at them with some sadness before being engulfed into a hug.

"'course we didn't forget. we've been looking forward to this, we're super excited for you to join along with us." dec pats my back then continues, "it's gonna be fun!"

i go to thank them and as they start walking out i get their attention, "WAIT!" they turn around rapidly and rush towards me. "what's wrong? are you alright?" they said worriedly.

"yeah, sorry." i chuckle a little and recieve a small slap on my arm from ant, "don't do that! you're gonna give us a heart attack." ant placed his hand on his chest.

"sorry, just forgot to ask: what do i have to wear exactly?" they look at me as if to say, 'really? that outburst just for that?'

"well, it's my first day. i'm a tv presenter and i want to look nice." i explain and dec answers, "well do what we do. we usually just wear a nice pair of jeans with those shoes that look like boots. and for the shirt, we usually wear a collared shirt underneath a nice jumper, and i know you have plenty of those."

we laugh a little, "yeah, you're right. i'm going to have a shower then get dressed. i'll meet you downstairs when i'm ready to go." i smile and they leave my bedroom.

i head to the bathroom and take a shower then get ready after. i look in the mirror, "you can do this mulhern." i take a deep breath and head downstairs with ant and dec.

"alright, i'm ready to go." i say as i walk up to the couch. they turn to look at me, "you look great!" said ant with a smile.

"yeah, this is more or less what you'll want to wear on tv." dec said as they got off the couch.

"thanks, now come on let's go!" i say excitedly. we head out the door and go on our way to the studio.

here is a quick update bc school just started and with my ap class i'm going to have a lot of hw. which means slow updates (noooooo!!) 😫 also sorry it's so short :(
